I am going to be ambitious again. I will do a double post. And this is the first time I am participating on both. Isn't that exciting? Let me start with Outdoor Wed, hosted by Susan at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/2009/02/211-outdoor-wednesday.html. Please visit her blog and check out her wonderful outdoor post and then go see who else is participating and visit them too.
A few months ago, we were hit by Hurricane Gustav. We were out of power for 4 days and the big tree in our backyard uprooted and fell on our back neighbor's bathroom roof. Although we felt bad for our neighbor, we were thankful cause the tree could have gone either direction and it could have hit our master bedroom. Luckily nobody was hurt and our neighbor got a new bathroom. After the storm, we noticed an unusual number of hummingbirds flying around our backyard. They are usually very distant but the storm must have made them real thirsty and hungry that they did not even care if I was right next to them taking pictures. Here are a few shots. Enjoy!
Now, for Wordless Wednesday, sponsored by Dixie at http://frenchlique.blogspot.com/. The theme today is Love, just in time for Valentine's Day. Check out Dixie's blog and then visit the others who are participating also and spread the Love.
Words cannot express how much we all love each other. See for yourself. Kids grow up, get married, have kids of their own but we always have and love each other. Ooops, was I allowed to say that much? LOL! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL!
