I have started collecting Mac Kenzie Childs dishes since last summer, when I saw a store while vacationing in Park City, Utah. But this is the first time that I finally used them. I like how they come in different patterns and colors and yet can be mixed together beautifully.
Isn't this a cute double decker ceramic or clay tea pot set? I found it on Ebay.
I opted to use a colorful quilt throw for a table topper.
For the main centerpiece, I used a Heather Goldminc clayworks candle house. I bought it from a store that is closing locally downtown at 40% off. I thought the checks in the front would blend with the MKC courtley check dishes and accessories.
I only have 2 courtley check plate chargers so I mixed them up with my other floral patterned ones, which I have 6 of. I do not know the pattern name either but they come in different colors.

I only have 2 ceramic MKC napkin rings so I mixed up some pink (more like coral) flower rings from Pier One.
The blue ball shaped place card holders are part of John's Christmas presents to me. He also bought me a courtley check hanging lamp t but I do not know where to put it yet.

I bought this pair of wooden candle holders from Ebay. They are not MacKenzie Childs but painted to mimic the style.

These MCH. dishes are gorgeous, each pattern is adorable and fun to set a table like you have. To eat in each plate must be so exciting! I can't believe such wonderful patterns they come in, I can appreciate them cause they look like some I used to design in Alejandro's factory years ago. I love the cneterpiece cafe piece too and the very unusual teapot.

This table is a favorite of mine. You have a nice mix of Mackenzie-Childs pieces. I have mostly Courtly Check pieces, so I can't identify the ceramic plates but they are so lovely. I adore the teapot, and the blue ball name holders that your husband gifted you with. I look forward to seeing your lighting fixture once you hang it.

The egg salt and pepper shakers ar in Myrtle pattern.
The tall spiral candle stick is in the Brighton Pavilion pattern. Will keep looking for the pattern of the smaller one. I haven't found it just yet.
I've saved my catalogs through the years, but unfortunately didn't think about doing that till the 2000. Wish I had some of the ones from when I first started collecting, but I bought from a store then. ;-)
Hi Christine, You know, I was going to suggest you ask Sarah about the pattern names because she is truly a MK expert, but now I see she has already commented with all the names! MK is such a dangerous thing to collect as there are so many pieces and EVERY one is absolutely gorgeous. This is a beautiful table and you have a great beginning to your collection. Linda
