It is going to be a very busy Thanksgiving weekend. We were not planning to have a Thanksgiving dinner here because we usually go to my other daughter's house north of here but Scott, my daughter's hubby who lives next door is on call, so we decided to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I set the table so I can do other things to prepare for the arrival of my friends from Natchez, MS, who will be driving a truck here to bring all the rest of our stuff from there.
Then, my other daughter and her family will come the next day to spend a late Thanksgiving with us.
Anyway, I started the table with this tablecloth that I bought from Grand Cayman years ago.
For the dinnerware, I decided to use my Johnson Brothers' "Brookshire". They were easily accessible from the garage.
I love all the various feathered birds.
I bought the plate chargers from Walmart many, many years ago.
I used a pair of pheasants for a centerpiece.
Flatware made by Spode, pattern "Woodland"
Turkey S & P shakers
Duck S & P Shakers
I took out the punch bowl because the kids enjoyed the punch I made the last time we had a party here.
Bavarian Tirschenreuth tea set for the tea mixed with the JB Brookshire cup and saucer set.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving. We sure have a lot to be thankful for and that includes all my friends in Blogland in addition to my family. Although it has been a lot of work moving, which is not even completely done yet, I am thankful to be near family now.
Thanks to the hostesses I am linking with.
