Happy New Year 2019!!

Happy New Year, everyone! Here's wishing you all a very peaceful and prosperous 2019!! And hopefully, everybody stays healthy.

For my table, I chose to mix silver, grey and turquoise colors

I started with a fluted silver plate charger, topped with a turquoise dinner plate, a set I bought from Homegoods while visiting my mom in Illinois a few years ago, and layered with oval grey "CMG" Portuguese salad plates and soup bowls. The pattern name is "Sari". I had bought these from Horchow many years ago. I love the ruffled edges of the bowls and the subtle design on the plates.

I even found a similar design on the napkins from Pier 1, also from a few years back. Most of my tableware have been accumulated from many years back, since we have downsized quite a bit and I pretty much stopped buying, due to major shortage of storage space.

Do you still have your Christmas decorations up? I usually leave mine until the Feast of the Three Kings on Jan. 6. That has been the tradition that I grew up with in the Philippines.

I love decorating new year's table with snowflakes. Although it's been a really hot winter here in Florida, it somehow makes it feel cooler with the snowflakes.

I also like using this chickadee tea set for winter settings.

And there it is, our new year's table for 2019. I don't even think we will get to use it since we are invited to a party on New Year's eve, unless I have some unexpected guests come on New Year's Day.

I hope you all enjoy the holiday and you all stay safe if you are going out.

Thanks for your visit!

Elegant! I like the way you keep the silverware under the cloche. The ornaments in the bowl and the crackled candle holder caught my eye. So pretty. Your home seems so warm and inviting. Nice.

Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year! ~

I adore the aqua in your gorgeous new year's table setting Chris. Very elegant.
I didn't spend Christmas and New Years home, but at daughter's Sofia's had baby Alonso and dear Alex came from Madrid to meet her nephew, we were complete.
My mom had a stroke two weeks ago. Very tough and sad to be a caretaker to a dear mother; you know what is like. I'm also the only girl.
Looks like your 2019 is coming along great too.
Hugs,
Fabby
