Polish Pottery and Hearts

I have never used my Polish pottery for a Valentine's table but I have some heart shaped plates and bowls, so I said to myself, why not!
So, there it is! I started with a red lace tablecloth with hearts all over. I know John bought me a tablecloth with hearts on it from an estate sale while I was in Florida, but I could not remember where I placed it and while searching, I found this instead.

I thought these daters' figurine would work out well for a centerpiece. I surrounded them with pearls, a dotted heart and a red poppy, placed them all in  larger Polish pottery heart bowl.
 added some flowers

Here is the Zac lady, looking like she is watching the daters very closely. She reminded me of my mother when I was a teen-ager, lol.

Polish pottery goblet and red wine stem glasses.
Blue Royal Albert rose napkin rings.
For our tea, I used a Polish pottery tea set and used the tea cups with hearts again.

The blue sky matches my pottery and flatware.

 Vintage blue glass S & P shakers. I have PP s & p shakers but I  packed them already.

Thank you so much for stopping by. And thanks especially to the hard working hostesses.
I thought I would share one of the latest pictures of my granddaughter Rea with her growing hair. She was just done with the first cycle of her immune therapy (I think 5 more to go), which is the last phase of her treatment. We can't wait for her to be all done with all the treatments but she has been cancer free with no evidence of disease for some months now and we are very grateful. This is how brave she is when they draw her blood. She is very compliant and she just looks and then she helps the oncology nurse mix the tubes after, lol.  To everybody who has and is still praying for her, thank you so VERY much!!

  22. What a beautiful table, it is almost funny to think of a Polish tea. But the colors of the porcelain Crystal ware were so unique that it made your table look so appealing. The use of the boy and girl was a real Eye catcher and finished off your wonderful table. If you have time please visit my website and view a Texas snowfall.

  24. Your Polish pottery is very beautiful! I work with a man that came from Poland in his 20's and does not like this type of pottery at all. He says his mother's cabinets are full of pottery and he'd like to throw it all out and buy her modern stuff! Can you believe it? My mother had a saying: "God gives a beard to he who has no chin!" Meaning that sometims the wrong people end up with valuable things. I'd love to take over his mother's cabinets. On another note, I'm sending prayers for your darling granddaughter. God bless!

  27. Such a pretty tablescape, Christine. I don't know how you do it. Packing for a move, house for sale, and still setting a beautiful table. This pottery makes such a pretty setting. If I had room for any more dishes, I'd be trying to buy some of it. I got a laugh out of the pottery chaperone for the dating couple. Thanks so much for sharing this at my party.
