Sprucing Up the Front Porch and Yard

John just retired and we will move back to Florida where all the kids and grandkids are. Because it is winter, Our house has lost its curb appeal, although I have not done much work here in the past. We have placed the house on the market so John and I thought, we should make the outside look more attractive.
And so we begun to work the other day. We have had a very mild winter and the last 3 days has been in the 60's, just perfect for gardening.
My bunny is ready to welcome spring and Easter.
 Isn't she a cutie?
I planted fresh flowering plants on the hanging baskets on the fence.

 It's is ready for tea!

I painted the rusted tricycle and added potted plants on it.

This is how the front porch looks like now and I love it!

John cleaned the fountain on the back porch and I freshened up the hanging planters. I have only done 2, so more to work on.
This was how it looked before we started working on the front.
 And the hanging planters. Yuk!
So glad it is looking better, although there is so much more work to be done. Thanks for stopping by and thanks to the hostesses.

  8. Your outside is looking wonderful, I'm sure anybody would love to buy your house, Christine.
Yes, in your neck of the woods weather is great, almost like ours. I sure would not like to be in the dead of winter, though.
I remember when we had to move to our down sized pent house apartment, boy did I miss our huge and great farmhouse, (elegant though, lol) Now, I would not move from here, ever! I don't have to worry about plants, or pool, or anything else, as we have it all in the condo, but no cleaning or maintaining it!
Hope you come by and check my first attempt at a Mardi Gras tablescape.
