"Most Awesome Grandma"

It's Saturday and I did not think I would be able to post but I don't want to break my sightseeing trend so I am posting from the ship. We went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica the other day. We climbed the Dunn's River Falls. John and I climbed this same falls about 4 years ago and it seemed harder to climb it this time. It must be because we are getting older. Anyway, John did not go all the way to the top but AJ wanted to so I went with her and I actually made it. AJ said that I am the coolest grandma ever! LOL!
Please visit Chandy at http://whatnowtablescapes.blogspot.com/ in case she was able to join Sightseeing Saturday too.
The water was cool and refreshing. We all made it to the first picture stop!
There was a little rock where you could slide and AJ went for it, but not me!
It wasn't easy, some rocks were steep, big and slippery and I had a tough time because the way we were positioned I had to climb with my left leg first to pull me up and that is my weaker knee. We had to form a human chain supposedly for safety.
Pretty mountains in the background.
Before going to the Falls, we visited a Plantation, which is a house surrounded with 1000 acres of vegetation. There were animals in it too. Here is AJ feeding an ostrich.
Here is the Plantation house. I love the furniture inside and all the pretty plants in the garden.
I hope you enjoyed my little tour. I tried uploading more pics but this internet it so slow and is not uploading everything. I have missed you all and I hope you all had a nice week. I will try to catch up soon.

  18. Christine, you are always "game" for whatever AJ wants you to do, and you have given her reason to believe that you are super Grandmother and can do anything she wants to do! Apparently, she's right! Were you sore after that climb? Beautiful scenery. Glad you're close to being home. laurie
