Pink Ballerinas and Red Rock, Nevada

Saturday is here and we need to go sightseeing but first, let's show off our pinks and join Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/. Visit her and her participants to see more awesome pinkness!
I have a pair of ballerinas in pink tutus. I bought the bisque figurine from Vanna a while back when she was still actively blogging. Vanna, we want you back! Where are you?

They are now in a cloche displayed in our living room. Aren't they cute?

For Sightseeing Saturday, we will go to Red Rock Canyon in Nevada. It is very close to Las Vegas. The rocks will take your breath away the moment you enter the canyon.
I meet with my College classmates once a year and this is where we went last Nov. We don't bring any family member with us. We stayed at one of my classmate's condo in Las Vegas. She lives in Southern CA but owns a condo there. We had a great time as we always do on every reunion.

Aren't the rock formations gorgeous? It was a good hike too!
If you have something to share with us, please link below. Thanks!

Thanks, Beverly for hosting another pink Sat. and thank you all for coming!

  2. Beautiful scenery. This wouldn't be my fist choice to live, I love trees too much, but it would be amazing to visit. Or to have a winter home there! Your ballerinas are pretty, i have a little pink porcelain one too, but both of her thumbs have broken off! Happy Pink and Sightseeing Saturday!

  4. Christine, your ballerinas are just so pretty and to have them under a cloche makes them even better. Love the cloches. The red rock country really is so pretty isn't it? We have been there many, many times, just lovely. So nice that you and your classmates all get together every year, that is really special. Hugs, Marty

  8. I remember having a ballerina figurine similar to those when I was young. I was always fascinated by the lacy tutu.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of red rocks. We drove out there during a visit to Las Vegas several years ago. Beautiful.

  9. Hi Christine,
Hubby and I were there once and it is awe inspiring! It gave me a bit of a desolate feeling though, kind of hard to explain. Your cute as always! Hugs, cindy

  17. How beautiful!! I have heard of the Red Rocks but never ben!! I was too busy blogging away in my hotel room to see much of Nevada recently!!

It is really breathtaking and you nearly took my breath away (gasp) when I saw the picture of you and your friends on that steep rock. That is totally frightening to me.

I am glad you had a good time. Wonderful post!

    xoxo
