I used to post travels every Sat but have stopped that for quite some time. I started looking at my old travel posts and I thought I would share them with the Tablescaper's travel meme. This was originally posted on October 16, 2009.
Here is a trip to Stockholm, Sweden that I took with my sisters a few years ago.

The week went so fast and it is Saturday again. That means a lot of pretty pinks will be circulated in Blogland and of course, I wouldn't want to miss the action. You probably wouldn't want to either so c'mon at Beverly's of http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/06/so-just-what-is-pink-saturday.html
My contribution today is a wooden Halloween lamp that I bought on clearance for $7 at Dillard's. I thought it's kinda cute. I placed it on the bar counter so that it can be seen both from the kitchen and family room and I just leave the light on all day and all night.
OMG! I did not know there is dust on the top wood panel. Looks like these large pictures show everything.

I have shown you 2 trips to NY for the last 2 Saturdays so maybe you are getting tired of it so I won't take you back there. Let's go to Stockholm, Sweden instead.
This is downtown Stockholm where my sister and I took a shopping trip with my nephew and his family. The tour guide took us to a store where they sell Costa Boda crystals. Every item displayed was so pretty. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.
Changing of the guards.

Isn't this lamp post so pretty? How I wish I could have something like that in our garden.

ReplyDeleteSweden looks like a fairy book land! It's beautiful. It's funny you should mention your sister's age. I asked MY sister the other day how old she thought you were and she said mid-thirties! I was pleased to shock her because you look fabulous! So does your sister, I'm guessing she's your older sister?
ReplyDeleteYour Halloween house is very cute and don't worry about the dust. We all have it! Happy Pink Saturday!
I also added my name to your followers list. I could have sworn I put my name there months ago when we first began blogging together. I've had this happen a few times lately, or I'm just losing my mind! Which is entirely possible some days.

Happy Pink Saturday! And, hope to join the travel posts when I get my website all stocked.
Sorry I'm a little late. Seems like when the sun is out I feel a desperate need to go outside and run errands or just life my face to the heavens and soak in the last rays before winter hits my neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteIt's always so much fun to share in the pink goodness of the blogs gathered together for Pink Saturday. A collection of some of the nicest women and prettiest blogs in cyberspace!
