A few days ago, my friend called a little upset. I told her to come on over and we will sing karaoke and it should make her feel better. And so she did!
I was telling her about my new Nespresso machine and asked if she would like to have some capuccino and she did so I made some for the 2 of us.

Do you see those cute cups? I bought them from another vendor in the store, Yep, I went shopping again but who could resist 4 lovely cups for $3.99? Yep, I got 4 of them. And they even match the new to me Villeroy & Boch tray I just won on Ebay.
The black decanter is the frother. All you have to do is add milk, lay it on the Nespresso in its slot, press a button and it froths the milk.
Isn't she a cutie?

Those cups are darling. I have never seen them before. What a delightful way to have tea with a friend. That should have put a smile on her face. Cut post and thanks for your visit.
ReplyDeleteVery cute and good match for the tray. I'm so glad you cheered your friend up!

ReplyDeleteI can see why spending time with you and the cute cups, frothed coffees and singing karaoke would cheer up your friend.
ReplyDeleteFun looking cups for sure!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet of you to have her over. The cups are adorable. The Cappuccino looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteThose cups are too cute! How could these not cheer someone up? Sounds like a fun afternoon Christine. Kat
ReplyDeleteChristine, you seem like such a nice person that I don't think your friend even needed the cappuccino or the karaoke. She probably would have felt better just getting your sweet attention. :)
ReplyDeleteBest,
Gloria P.S. Your cups are cute though!!
Hello Christine :) How wonderful that you were able to cheer your friend up, and these cups are just too cute!! Lovely post today!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Tuesday!!
Warmest hugs, Brenda

ReplyDeleteAdorable tea cups! I have seen some like this before, they make me smile.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with us today.
Hugs,

Oh my! I love these teacups. I always see them in the antique store and they make me smile. However, they are a bit pricy and not in as nice of a condition as yours. You are so very lucky to have found these. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThese cups are so cute and I know my mother had one very similar to the lady teacup. I must ask her about it. Thanks for sharing and Happy Tea Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Good morning friend.
ReplyDeletethanks for coming by to visit and your nice comments.
In regard to shipping high chairs, the thought never crossed my mind. I really just had them on there to show my local customers, and to have a post. They are about 3' tall, so think a big nuisance to ship, and costly. sorry.
hope your day is great!!

PS your mugs are too cute!!
The cups are such fun. I saw them in an antique shop in Florida. You got a good deal on yours. Funny, I just looked up Nespresso machines yesterday. I saw an ad for one and was curious. How does the coffee taste? I had an early pod type coffee machine and the coffee wasn't good...but, it also wasn't nearly as expensive as the new machines.
ReplyDeleteYum Yum indeed! I used to own these cups but in one of my decluttering moods sold them on etsy.
ReplyDeleteOh Christine, this is so pretty and the cups are just way too cute. I love them. Now I really need something yummy to drink. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThose cups are just too cute Christine!
ReplyDeleteI would have grabbed them too!
How nice that you cheered up your friend and what fun doing karoake!
Hugs,
Cindy
Hi Christine!
ReplyDeleteThose are just the cutest cups and good for a smile no matter what you are drinking from them!
They are from Baileys Irish Cream gifts sets. I used to have one but don't know what happened to it! How lucky you are to have 4 of them!
Hugs and Smiles,
Lynn
Christine, just looking at those cute cups cheers me up! Yep! I would have had to buy those too - especially at that price. laurie
ReplyDeleteOh, cute cups! Sure to cheer up anyone, especially after a round of karaoke.
ReplyDeleteAnd I had to laugh -- I was just looking at those Charles Faudree books this morning. Small world.
Thanks for visiting That Old House.
