I hope there is no law against decorating under tables and in this case, under the cabinet, and I don't get kicked out from these fun memes.
I am linking with Marty of http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/ for Tabletop Tuesday.
I am going to jump a little and I will also link with Artie at http://niagaranovice.blogspot.com/ for Vignette Friday.
Can you guess where these chests and jugs are? I already gave you a hint:-)
How about these? I found the vintage oak chest, actually a flatware chest, but it's empty right now, on Ebay.
I bought the wooden shoe trees from one of the other vendors where my shop is located. Yep, I am not only selling but I am shopping too every now and then, lol. I thought about Kim of Savvy Southern Style when I spotted them and I thought the price was not too bad at $6.50 for the pair. There are some numbers and a letter inscribed on them, one must be the size, 7 and a half, but I do not know what the others stand for.
And there is my under the cabinet vignette.
I still have the top of the cabinet to work on but it is too high for me and it's deep. I took a chance putting those 2 glass beverage and punch bowl up there but it made me nervous because there is a drop which I cannot see. I think I will need a step ladder to be able to decorate it.
I say "use every available space you have!" It looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteChristine, I like your vignette underneath the china cabinet! Using boxes and vases add so much interest to an otherwise empty space. I love using old shoe lasts. You may remember them from some of my past posts.

HI Christine! I'm just dyeing here seeing all of your pretty things! You have the prettiest 'under the tables' I've ever seen! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're good, I believe I've told you that before. :)
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
Oh Christine, that looks so pretty. I would never think about putting something under, and yet it is perfect. What a great idea. Love all of your treasures. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteChristine, how beautiful! You have so many pretty things!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! It's a lot easier to decorate the under than the over!
ReplyDeleteHi,Christine! This looks great!! And your cabinet with all of your beautiful dishes looks wonderful too.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Gloria
I love wooden boxes, why is that? Are you telling me we are supposed to decorate under the furniture too? I have a beagle who might be upset if her favorite "under the china cabinet" place to sleep was suddenly filled with things. She'd probably just nose them out of the way. I do like your table under display!
ReplyDeleteYour Pictures are beautiful! Where is your store?
ReplyDeleteYour vignettes are so pretty! I never would have thought to put anything under the cabinet and it is truly inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI was worried about you shopping at the place where your shop is!! ;-D
Are you keeping busy as a shopowner these days?
Happy TT Tuesday!
xoxo

What some wonderful pieces to use anywhere in the home...love the shoe forms...so unique.
ReplyDeleteChristine,
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Love how you did a vignette under that cabinet. Any space is game to me. For far too long I haven't decorated certain spaces having raised boys, but they are getting older and it is time to decorate it all! Very inspirational!
