Brief Sightseeing, Pink Taxi and Favorite Salt Cellar Spoons

Hi guys! Sorry I am late. We just got home late last night from a cruise and after unpacking a little (nope, I am not done yet), I tried to check my email messages but my wireless router would not work, it kept disconnecting. I was too tired to mess with it so I ordered a new one and this morning, I just connected the modem directly to the computer with a wire.

We embarked from the Port of Miami. The trip started stressful but it ended up well. We were going to tour Vizcaya but while walking on the grounds, my mom did not want to walk anymore so she sat on her walker and one of my nephews pushed her. When they passed through a bump, the walker fell and so did my mom, again! She hit her hear and the old wound opened up but thank God, she wasn't on blood thinners anymore so John just bandaged it up and it quit bleeding after a few minutes. Needless to say, we had to go back to the hotel but I managed to take a few pictures.

My niece took this in front of the building while we were looking for the cafe to buy water for mama. I tried to look happy but believe me, I was stressed and worried.

There was a lot of us in this cruise. It was a short one but fun because my mom, all her 5 children, all her grandkids and great grandkids all came along, well almost all, 1 grandkid and 3 great grandkids who are in College could not come because they could not skip school.

Below are John and me, all my 3 children (2 daughters Rochelle and Tina and son, Jed), their spouses (Derek, Scott and Becky) and all my grand children (AJ, Brendan and Nathan). I miss them all so much already! It felt wonderful to be all together.

And here is a picture of the whole group. There were I think 48 of us who went. The ship was all decked out for Christmas!

Ok, for some pinks now......In Cozumel, Mexico, we went to Chankanaab and watched a sea lion show. My brother's daughter Jean, was picked to get a kiss from the seal. She was wearing pink.

What about a pink taxi in Key West?

When we got home, the kitchen counter was again full of packages. One of them was this set of sterling salt cellar spoons showing all 50 state flowers. I love each and everyone of them! I bet they will look so pretty after I polish them. They are 2.5 inches long, just perfect for my salt cellars. Now, I won't have to be on a lookout for tiny spoons anymore. I sure have enough.

  15. So good to know that you mom was ok after her fall. And how wonderful to have that time with all your family! Wow! :o) I love your beautiful family photo. Your daughters look like they could be twins too :o) Our daughters will get that question asked sometimes and they are 3 and a half years apart in age. Is your son the oldest? Have I asked this before? All of ours are 3 and a half years apart in age and our son is the youngest of the three.

Love your salt spoons too :o)

    Blessings & Aloha!
