My sister went to London a week before the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate. And so timely for my birthday and hubby's, she sent us some souvenirs for a birthday gift. I guess she saw the dates on the items, which is my hubby and my birthdate.
So for Tuesday Tea, I decided to use what she sent us, plus my teapot that I bought when we went to London.
I had a mocha roll that I bought from Houston when I went there a few days ago and had a lemon green tea.

Doesn't the mug go so well with the teapot?
Here is a close up. Isn't it pretty? I love the material too and the inscribed date, of course.
My mom was still in bed so I had tea by myself. She has been sleeping in every morning since we got back from Houston. I think the trip tired her out.

I just read my book and sipped my tea peacefully by myself.
Too hot for fire but I enjoyed my tea by the fireplace.

My sister also sent me this. It has a string hanger so I can use it for my Christmas tree during the yuletide season.

ReplyDeleteI will need to get one of those for my tree! What a lovely tea you had for yourself. The tea towel is what I want to buy. I want to buy several items but I want ones that are easy to bring home. My husbands boss was supposed to get me one and Christmas but he forgot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your treasured comments on my blog.....came back to thank you and read this post that I had missed. I am in love with your teapot, cup and other keepsakes......so pretty and memorable. Recently my husband accidentally broke my Diana and Charles cup and saucer....I did not let him see me, but I cried about it. It had been a special gift from my mom and I have never seen another like it. I am so happy for you to have these new treasures to use and fondly recall the date of the wedding, making it even more "dear" since that is your birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dear one. Love the blueness.
ReplyDeleteBelated happy birthday to you and to your hubby!
Cheers and regards.
