This morning, I decided to drink my coffee out on the back porch. The temp. in the morning is cooler now and really pleasant.
I had a pound cake topped with Mayhaw jelly with my coffee.
For my tea cup, I used this English china set by Aynsley. It is marked C 2818.
This mercury silver candelier is right above the table. The plaque says "Love grows here. You reap what you sow"
The coffee/teapot is a Bavarian Tirschenreuth china. I do not know the pattern name but at the bottom, it is marked 33012. I like the Fall colors of the pot.
Love the sound of the trickling water coming from the fountain.
It was really relaxing out there this morning.

This is the first time I used this, usually they are only displayed in the dining room corner china cabinet.

I adore your coffee/teapot. I have never heard of mayhaw jelly; it must be a southern specialty. You are a fabulous tablescaper, whether it be dinner for 8, or tea by the fountain for one. Lovely!!!

ReplyDeleteYou made the simplest of pleasures into a special occasion using those lovely pieces of china, Christine. You had me intrigued with the mention of mayhaw jelly so I looked it up. I've never tasted Hawthorne berries. This is certainly not available up here! The south has some fun and interesting products. :-)
