Found New Wall Accessories For Florida Home

I have been in FL for our family reunion celebrating my mom's 95th birthday. Everybody is gone now so I can concentrate on more decorating.

I finally found a mirror I like for the foyer. I like the rustic look and the texture of the wood and the other materials used. As usual, I found it at Joss and Main while vacationing in Utah, Yes, I shop on line even while on vacation, lol.

I also like that the wood has a little tinge of orange, to blend with the orange postage on the table,

I love the details!

I also found a numbered and signed Salvador Dali lithograph titled "The Doctor", for the living room.

She is not very obvious but I like the nun on the right side of the picture.

I still need a big picture for that big wall above the sofa but I just have not found one I like yet. If I can stay here longer, I can paint one but I need to get back to Natchez. I am worried about my plants. Also, AJ is going there for a visit with a classmate.

Here is another picture I placed on the dining room wall. We bought it in Utah, saw it in a street art festival. It is a photograph of different doors taken in South America, I believe, Ecuador.

I like how colorful they are.

Do you see the little hallway on the right? It is leading to the master bedroom.

I brought the mirrored wood carvings from our home in Natchez. Actually I asked my friends who drove from Natchez and visited me here a few months ago, to bring them. They used to be hanging on either side of the TV in the family room.
I also brought my wood carved St. Anthony santos statue from there. I always pray to him whenever I lose something and he never fails me.

I bought this hand carved Madonna and Child from an antique store in Natchez.
Lastly, I just want to show you the orchid I got from the farmer's market here. It had no blooms when I bought it over a week ago and look at it now! I leave all the orchids out in the screened porch  when I go to Natchez and so far, they have been doing well without Tina having to water them.
Thanks again for coming by and for all your comments. They are always appreciated. Thanks also to the hostesses of the memes I am linking with. I really appreciate you all too.

  11. You're having fun decorating your new place; I can see that. I do like the new mirror and the postage stamp on the chest below it.

I can imagine some gorgeous aqua in that large painting you'll place above the sofa to tie in those pillows.
