Yesterday, we went to church and then I went shopping all day with my daughter, I decided to buy a few Christmas decorations so I can bring the spirit here in our Florida home. I immediately decorated when I got home and I was so tired after I finished because I wrapped some presents too. I was going to post last night but I fell asleep.
Anyway, here is how it all looks now.
I only bought a small tree because I have no time to put it down. We are celebrating Christmas early this Saturday with all the kids and then we fly back home to Mississippi the next day.

I already had this long big jar there. I just added some greeneries.
I added various small Christmas trees on the tables.
I brought the runner from our Natchez home. I bought it from Belize in the Caribbean several years ago . I added some small trees and red candles and red and green candle holders on the formal dining table.
I placed santa and snowman candle holders on the breakfast table all of them brought from the Mississippi home. My luggage was overweight. I had to move some stuff into my hand carry in the airport.
My grandsons were asking me how can the snowmen carry a Christmas tree with their feet, lol.

Here's a closer look of the tree. It's only 4 ft. tall so I elevated it on a round occasional table.

ReplyDeleteI'm pea green with envy over your vacation home in FL. My DH would move back in a heartbeat if I'd agree to leave the grandchildren...which I WON'T!! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely & I know you'll enjoy being able to escape to warmer weather. That is the ideal situation to be able to have 2 homes & not have to drag clothes, golf clubs & tennis rackets back & forth.
