I created this hunt scene tablescape for my son, Jed and his wife, Becky and her brother, Brad, who are avid hunters. Hunting season just started in Florida and out they already went this weekend. Good luck to you all!
I like using my animal print table runner, that I bought from Z Gallerie many years ago, probably my most favorite buy from there. I love the shape!
My antler was a gift from my son and DIL, that they cleaned and dried from one of their hunted deers. Get me a bigger one next time, Jed and Becky!
I alternated 2 different napkin rings
I placed an acorn place card on each plate, just for an added touch.
I started decorating for Fall at home too, showing the foyer table here.
I am out of walls with still so many more pictures to hang and now just stored under the guest room beds, but I thought I would just put this hunt scene picture on the buffet table for now, to go with the theme.
I bought this pair of horn candle holders from a friend in Natchez who moved away before us.
I think this fox is really cute.
I have hunt scene salad plates but I still have not been able to get to them, still buried in the garage, but for now, my elk (or are they moose?) plates will do.
A woodsy centerpiece
Animal print plate chargers. I had 2 sets of this but I sold a set to Candy, another blogger before we moved from MS.
Dark brown bamboo flatware set.
For the tea set, I opted for my Bavarian Tirschenreuth set with mostly brown pattern.
And that's it, folks! I hope you enjoyed my fun table like I do. Thank you for your visits and for the hostesses for these parties I always link to. You are very much appreciated.
