It's Time for a Beachy Table!

It is terribly hot and humid here in Florida which prompted me to create a beachy tablescape. I think the pool makes a perfect back drop, don't you think?

I was too lazy to go to the garage to pull out my plates that are embellished with shells so I just used my turquoise plates that are being stored in one of the kitchen cabinets.
I borrowed the ceramic shells and a vase with grassy leaves and clam shells from the bathroom. They usually adorn our jacuzzi tub.

These beaded napkin rings are really old, from Pier One. I bought them before we even moved to Mississippi from Florida and now, we are back in FL. The aqua flatware set was a find from Homegoods, many years ago.

I cannot remember where I bought these plate chargers with sand dollars, starfish and shells on them.

Goblets from Horchow, also from many years ago. I have slowed down from acquiring more dinner and table wares because of storage problem. Besides, I am supposed to be downsizing, lol.
And there you are! I am already feeling a little cool from just looking at my table. Thanks for stopping by and thanks to the hostesses who are holding these parties. You are always appreciated.

  1. Love it! I am new to trying to create nice tablescapes. I am kind of a dinnerware addict and am learning to mix and natch to use them more often.

  8. I am loving your table! After seeing your gorgeous table, I am thinking it is going to be hard for me to down size. Getting rid of dishes?? Not sure I could do that. LOL

  9. Another lovely table, Christine! I'm salivating over your feast! I visited Dresden 9 years ago (for just 1 day) and would love to go back to this beautiful city. I'm kicking myself for not picking up some Dresden china as souvenir.
