It's Time for a Beachy Table!

It is terribly hot and humid here in Florida which prompted me to create a beachy tablescape. I think the pool makes a perfect back drop, don't you think?

I was too lazy to go to the garage to pull out my plates that are embellished with shells so I just used my turquoise plates that are being stored in one of the kitchen cabinets.
I borrowed the ceramic shells and a vase with grassy leaves and clam shells from the bathroom. They usually adorn our jacuzzi tub.

These beaded napkin rings are really old, from Pier One. I bought them before we even moved to Mississippi from Florida and now, we are back in FL. The aqua flatware set was a find from Homegoods, many years ago.

I cannot remember where I bought these plate chargers with sand dollars, starfish and shells on them.

Goblets from Horchow, also from many years ago. I have slowed down from acquiring more dinner and table wares because of storage problem. Besides, I am supposed to be downsizing, lol.
And there you are! I am already feeling a little cool from just looking at my table. Thanks for stopping by and thanks to the hostesses who are holding these parties. You are always appreciated.

  1. Love it! I am new to trying to create nice tablescapes. I am kind of a dinnerware addict and am learning to mix and natch to use them more often.

  2. Christine,
Very Pretty!! Thanks for the inspiration as I was looking for ideas since I am doing a Beach themed table for our church's Harvest Tea in October....

  3. Just love your beautiful beachy table. Oh those goblets are gorgeous too.

  4. Love your cool table, especially the chargers! They are too cute to cover up with a dish!

  5. You have pulled together so many lovely items to put together a wonderful beachy table!!! The turquoise flatware and those gorgeous goblets are my favorites!!

  6. Christine I love your new house and this table with all the aquas is so perfect and lovely. I love your pool backdrop for the breakfast room. Great dishes you gathered for this setting too.

  7. What a lovely tablescape and I am so glad you shared at Dishing it and Digging it link party. You are one of our features for this coming Sunday's link party. Thank you for sharing.

  8. I am loving your table! After seeing your gorgeous table, I am thinking it is going to be hard for me to down size. Getting rid of dishes?? Not sure I could do that. LOL

  9. Another lovely table, Christine! I'm salivating over your feast! I visited Dresden 9 years ago (for just 1 day) and would love to go back to this beautiful city. I'm kicking myself for not picking up some Dresden china as souvenir.

I am so happy you came. Please feel free to leave a comment. I love reading them. Have a good day!!
