Sushi to complete the Asian Tablescape

Yipee! It's Potluck time again at Gollum's Foodie Friday. Please come and join us at http://www.designsbygollum.blogspot.com/. Check out everybody's yummy food contribution.

Since I had an Asian tablescape yesterday, I thought I'd make some Japanese food. So here is some California Maki and unagi with unagi sauce. Enjoy! Now I am off to see the other food. See you all there at Gollum's!

Thanks, Gollum, for hosting the potluck!

  20. Hello Christine...

So happy that you stopped by my place today and took a peek at my ebay ironstone bargain! I know...Girl, when I seen the listing I just couldn't believe it! I was wondering if the seller was a "not so honest" person to have listed such a nice set of ironstone for so cheap! I was just elated to get it! Thank you for the sweet compliments!!!

Well my friend, I loved your beautiful Asian tablescape and of course, you had to fix something to fill those pretty tablesettings...hehe! I love any seafood...I guess you can class this as seafood? Sure looks yummy! You're a great cook, my friend!!!

Have a fabulous Friday and weekend!
    Love ya,

  25. Hey girl...lordy you make that looks so fancy...of course everything you do turns out beautiful...but I have never in my life ate sushi..you know us Southerners...we gotta have our fried chicken! lol

But you know I was at the gas station today & the lady in front of me was asking the cashier for something...I didn't hear what she said...then I saw the cashier reach under the counter and pull out a huge gallon jar and she commence to reaching in there with some tongs and lord have mercy she pulled out a PICKLED PIG FOOT!!!! Ohhhhh I started gagging and swaying back & forth...I was covering my hand on my mouth trying not to make nosies...I just wanted to pay for my gas and leave..she bought two of those wretched creatures & was smacking on one before she left the parking lot....I'm country...but I got my pride! lol lol Have a great weekend girl!

  27. The sushi looks delicious. My granddaughter introduced me sushi when she lived in a city. She learned to make it and hers is wonderful. I will share this post with her. Also, your Tablescape with its Asian theme is beautiful.
