Since I had an Asian tablescape yesterday, I thought I'd make some Japanese food. So here is some California Maki and unagi with unagi sauce. Enjoy! Now I am off to see the other food. See you all there at Gollum's!

Christine, these look sooooo good. I am always so fascinated watching them be made. I have tried, but not very successfully. Yours look awesome. Hugs, Marty
Wow, Christine! I'm so impressed with these foods! They look difficult to make, and I love Japanese food. Thanks for sharing... wish you could send me one of each over the computer. LOL!
Happy Foodie Friday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
I LOVE this. I took a sushi class this summer, but this Japanese food is labor intensive!! Yours looks great.
This was wonderful! Such a labor of love! I know it looked so great with your tablescape, for I loved it too! I did not answer you about the day of lunch and antiquing for Mississippi Bloggers and friends. Your hubby will have a great time in Philadelpia,MS there is golfing, and lots to do! You may want to stay for a day or two! He may just love to come with us! I know mine always does! lol But this trip I sure he will be staying behind at the Pearl River Resort! He love it so much.
Christine, Your food looks so yummy. Please.. come over and teach me how to make it. LOL Really, I wish you could.

I've never had sushi but I think they are so pretty and delicate. They are a piece of art on a plate.
These look wonderful Christine. I've never developed a taste for sushi, but I think I would be willing to give this a try! Kathy

Hello Christine...
So happy that you stopped by my place today and took a peek at my ebay ironstone bargain! I know...Girl, when I seen the listing I just couldn't believe it! I was wondering if the seller was a "not so honest" person to have listed such a nice set of ironstone for so cheap! I was just elated to get it! Thank you for the sweet compliments!!!
Well my friend, I loved your beautiful Asian tablescape and of course, you had to fix something to fill those pretty tablesettings...hehe! I love any seafood...I guess you can class this as seafood? Sure looks yummy! You're a great cook, my friend!!!
Have a fabulous Friday and weekend!
Love ya,
Chari
Wow Christine! This looks great! I love sushi, but tend to be a little conservative, having tried only limited kinds. I'll have to try these! Have a great weekend...Debbie
You are one talented lady! Thanks for coming by! Your table is beautifully done! and I admire anyone that can make sushi! It's beautiful! God Bless! Lauralu :)
Christine, this is absolutely a beautiful plate of food. Oh, it looks like it would take hours to prepare this. I bet it's worth it though. laurie
YOu made all that yourself? I wouldn't eat it, but it does look pretty!
Justine :o )
Hey girl...lordy you make that looks so fancy...of course everything you do turns out beautiful...but I have never in my life ate sushi..you know us Southerners...we gotta have our fried chicken! lol
But you know I was at the gas station today & the lady in front of me was asking the cashier for something...I didn't hear what she said...then I saw the cashier reach under the counter and pull out a huge gallon jar and she commence to reaching in there with some tongs and lord have mercy she pulled out a PICKLED PIG FOOT!!!! Ohhhhh I started gagging and swaying back & forth...I was covering my hand on my mouth trying not to make nosies...I just wanted to pay for my gas and leave..she bought two of those wretched creatures & was smacking on one before she left the parking lot....I'm country...but I got my pride! lol lol Have a great weekend girl!
Christine, I've never had sushi, but yours ALMOST make me want to try it. They look so pretty. ~ Robyn
The sushi looks delicious. My granddaughter introduced me sushi when she lived in a city. She learned to make it and hers is wonderful. I will share this post with her. Also, your Tablescape with its Asian theme is beautiful.
Sweetie
Haven't had sushi since we moved to PA. Never learned how to make it because we had good Japanese restaurants in NY. Now you have me wanting to head out tmr. to find a good source! Looks wonderful. Nancy
I am willing to try sushi but have no interest in sashimi.
I love sushi and yours look wonderful! Thanks for the inspiration! :D
Beautiful! My hubby would be in heaven! ♥ Diane
