I am back! It's been an incredibly hectic week. I just got back from Florida to visit the kids and grandkids and attend stepdaughter's wedding. Now, I am back home to relax and ready to join events happening in Blogland. I tried to visit as much as possible but the hectic schedule made it impossible to visit all of you, so please forgive me if I missed a lot of your new posts.

Last Christmas, we visited my sister in Illinois. I saw this clock sitting on the dresser in the guest room. When we got home while still thinking about it, I asked my sister on the phone where she got it from. She said she won it an an antique auction but she did not know much about it. Anyway, when we went to Chicago for hubby's medical convention a few week's ago, we were checking in at the hotel, we were told that we have a package which they delivered to the room. And wouldn't you know that it was this beautiful clock that both dh and I admired as it sat on my sister's guest room dresser! My sweet sister gave it to us. Isn't it pretty? It is so heavy and we did not want to damage it so dh hand carried it home.
It is made out of bronze and porcelain. You can of course, click the pictures to see the details. Oooops, I did not know it is dirty until I clicked on the picture. Just ignore the dirt and I will clean it up, LOL!
Oh my God. I don't know how she parted with that. Perhaps because she knew how lovely and perfect of a setting you had for it. Not only is the clock gorgeous, but everything in the picture is gorgeous. . Please visit my Second Time Around. While your there, take a look around.
