It's shopping showtime! Sunday Shopping Secrets is hosted by Anita at http://bridalblooms4u.blogspot.com/. You need to go to Anita's blog and see all the neat things she bought this week and then check out everyone else purchases.
I just visited my daughter, Tina the last 3 days and she came home early from work one evening so we can go shopping. She said shopping with me and her older sister, Rochelle, is the one thing she misses the most since she and her husband moved. She said she and her husband will only go to the store if they need to buy something in particular. And used to be, the 3 of us would go to stores even if we had no intentions of buying anything. Of course, we always ended up buying something that mommy had to pay, lol!.
Anyway, we did not shop a lot because it was getting late and we had baby Brendan with us. But I bought a few items and here they are. The slides (we call them step ins in the Philippines) were bought from Ross
I also bought the bunny topiaries from Ross. I thought they were really cheap ($2.99 each) and I think they will look good by our fountain, don't you think so?

I bought these 2 long narrow pillows at Old Time Pottery. They were only $1.99 each. I think they will be perfect for my neck when I am reading.
and this is on the other side of them.I bought the kitty pitcher from Ross. I plan to give it to my stepdaughter and her groom with their wedding present. They have and like Siamese cats. We're giving them an i bond. I will print a certificate, roll it up and put it in the pitcher, or maybe just a check.
Thanks again for visiting. I hope you enjoyed seeing my purchases for this week. Thanks to Anita for hosting this fun meme.

Hey Christine !
ReplyDeleteYou did do a great job finding bargins....Love those sandals, just
the right time to wear them. I can't believe that you got those pillows for $1.99 - I would buy them even if I didn't like the fabric as you could always recover them - yours look great allready..
