I woke up full of energy today. I think I am too excited cause my oldest granddaughter decided to spend her spring break here and we are picking her up from the airport on Monday.
Yesterday, I did not create a tablescape, instead I posted an old casual one. So today, I am making up for it. I decided to do a tablescape on every table that we have on the pool deck with cloches for centerpieces. So now, I am ready for 4 future tablescape posts, lol.
Here's the first one. I am not showing the whole tablescape since I am saving it for Thursday posts.
Go to http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/ to see all the participants for Marty's Spring Cloche Party.
I am also linking with Laurie for A Few of My Favorite Things at http://bargainhuntingwithlaurie.blogspot.com/
I created a mermaid tablescape for AJ, who loves mermaids.
This table is at the corner of the deck by the veggie garden. Do you see the red camellias in the background? The blooms are big and there are still a lot of buds! There are also pink ones behind it.
I just bought the plates from TJ Maxx but I am not showing you the details yet, lol. I think they look great by the pool.
Here is my second table, a tea setting using Spode's Emma's Garland tea set, on the covered back porch table by the fountain. I will post more of it for Pink Saturday since it is pink and green.
Here's another one, on the square picnic table. One cloche has ducks in it and the other, a bunny.
I also dressed my terrarium with plants and birds and candles on terracota pots.
Here, you can see the other table with a mermaid theme on the other side of the pool.

I was going to do one more tablescape in the gazebo but I think I will leave that for another day, lol. I just want to relax for a while plus upload all these pics for the cloche party.
But, let me show more cloches in the kitchen. You have seen this on my tea setting last Tuesday. They are faux cupcakes, the only ones that I need.
And here's another cloche with a bird on top. I placed a clear glass bunny and a small pot with tulips in it.
This wicker one is empty but I just want to show it to you. I bought it last month for $6.99 at TJ Maxx when I went to Florida but it would not fit my luggage, so I left it with my daughter and told her to bring it. And she did, when she visited last week.

What can I say but WOW !!! You won my heart with the first one though. I am going to have to go and find me a mermaid. I hope you have a great time with your Granddaugher, they do grow up so fast.
