Pink and Green and Mardi Gras Parade

Another week just went by and it is weekend again and so it is time to go sightseeing or attend an event or go shopping. It's also time to show some pinks. Today I will show you more photos of the Mardi Gras parade

I am linking with Beverly for Pink Saturday at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

I am also linking with The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sunday at http://thetablescaper.blogspot.com/

My pink and green contribution for Pink Saturday is my Spode Tea set in Emma's Garland pattern.

We will have tea by the pool and fountain.

I used my Meissen napkin rings. These are my favorite of all my napkin rings, probably equal to my other favorite pewter peacocks.

Bird flatware

A mini pink teapot and bunny S&P shakers in cloches and a rose topiary serve as my centerpiece.

The teacup set is a Bavarian Tirschenreuth. I have a tea set matching these cups but I'll use them next time. I just like the bold colors and prints of Emma's Garland and prefer to use this set now. It is so spring-y.

Now, here come the Mardi Gras floats.

It was a lot of fun watching the parade and catching beads.
Thanks to Beverly and the Tablescaper for hosting these fun events and thank to you all for coming by.

  8. It was soo much fun seeing the floats. Thank you for sharing that with us. I especially liked the one with the lit up palm tree. Your meissen napkin rings are soo absolutely beautiful, ooh i can just feel the smoothness of the china and the crisp edges of the beautiful blooms. Goes very well with your Spode, which is quite lovely. So glad I'm catching up. Liked the cloches from the previous post too. Thanks so much for stopping in and leaving your comments, they make my day.
