Colorful Backyard, Fall, 2011

I took more pictures of the trees in the backyard today. The colors are getting more intense and I thought I should capture them before the leaves completely all fall off. The golden yellow ginkgo tree is so pretty against the Japanese red maple. Do you see the golden kumquats in the potted trees?

The skimmers cannot keep up in cleaning the leaves out of the pool. And I even help in emptying the baskets and scooping up the leaves.
I think this is my favorite photo.

The ginkgo leaves are almost all gone.
Great view from inside the home office.

Thanks for stopping by this fall y'all!

  1. Gorgeous photos Christine. I was wondering how you did it with the pool. My boys want a pool in our yard, I said NO way all the leaves would be way too much work.

Bet they get more light huh. You take good pictures too Christine. Just love it!
