Last of Charleston's Photos and Pink Accessories

Happy weekend, y'all!

Today, for Pink Saturday. I thought I would just post some of my pink purses. The Coach purse on top was given to me by my stepdaughter, whose company BTW, we are enjoying right now, since she is visiting with her 3 tots from Florida.

I am a purse-a-holic too, among other things, lol. I store my purses in an antique armoire my hubby bought me for my birthday 2 years ago, in our bedroom. I keep most of them in dust bags.


See the books on the floor? They belong to the hall bookcases, which I had to empty in preparation for the new floors to be replaced.

For Sightseeing Saturday, I am sharing the last batch of our photos taken in Charleston, SC. I hope you enjoy seeing as much as I enjoyed taking them.







The weather was perfect the whole time we were there. This was a square right next to the hotel where we stayed in. It seems like everybody was out enjoying the weather.



This was the flea market right across the hotel which I visited frequently especially when John was at the meeting.

We basically just walked around the hotel where there were so many beautiful spots to see.




I like to peek through iron fences.


Tricycles like this and horse carriages were all over.




There were a lot of churches around too.








Beautiful flowers everywhere.

Horse posts where they used to tie their horses in the olden days.

A view of the Ashley River through the trees.




Multi million dollar homes with spectacular views of the Ashley River.


I love the columns of this theater.

This must be the cruise port, right behind the US Custom House. I can see the Carnival ship peeking out on the right.
We start taking our daily walk from the time John comes back from the meetings at around 1 PM until dark or until my feet cannot take it anymore.


I love cobblestone alleys.

We're back in the hotel!


And this concludes our trip to Charleston, which I enjoyed immensely.

    Charleston is truly lovely, but it's your armoire I enjoyed visiting the most, lol lol lol. So many bags! Drool...

    Hi Christine! So sorry haven't been around. Repairs are taking up most of our time. My poor dining room and kitchen! Anyway, I tried to look you up directly here and I was directed to a gospel site! lol

    Been working part time as a financial data special projects analyst for a construction company since August so been busy there, too!

    Happy Pink Saturday and thank you once again for taking me strolling through Charleston. There is so much beauty and history in this gorgeous city. I loved seeing all of the churches and the beautiful columns. Aren't they just spectacular?

    Love that you too are a purse girl. If there is one thing I LOVE, it is pink. Yes PINK and even in purses. Love that Coach bag. How pretty that one is.

    OK Christine, we have something in common, I, too collect purses. I love Dooney"s! I wish I had your armoire, it sure is lovely. Your John has good taste even in furniture. My mom almost have the same one, but we called it 'aparador!' Love all the pictures from Charleston. I hope you never get tired of sharing your travel adventures and your home. Can't wait to see what you have in store for all of us for the holiday season, although I know you are going to be one busy grandma!

    What a fabulous tour of Charleston! Thanks for sharing it with us.., Looks like you had a fulfilling and fun time. And oh those purses; fun!

    I am very late this week, yet I must say that your post from last week's tea was just so much fun! The pajama party was too cute! And the table vignette with those Autumn colors and golden chargers a dream!

    Also, as well, your mouth-wateringly yummy chicken and rise dish, desserts and Strawberry Zinfandel.., I'm so hungry , even just thinking about it! ~ So good; I must try this!

    I have grown, lived, and worked in WV for most of my life. I have seen many changes both good and bad. I have witnessed the best we have to offer, and the worst. New Zealand is the perfect land of opportunity with its growing economy and a sought after lifestyle. West Virginians have always been relegated to their fate, They don't ask for much and so are rarely disappointed. Most consider WV a good place to start a family where it's relatively safe from the big city problems.

    Your new sony camera made the first 2 photos look like oil paintings. amazing shots.
