First and foremost, I would like to greet each and everyone of you and your families a very Blessed Christmas and good health and peace for the coming New Year!!!
We had our Christmas party at home here in Natchez last Friday. So much food and we all had a great time. I made it strictly buffet style in the dining room.
I left the same centerpiece, just modified it a bit. I took out the santas and moved them to the buffet server and took out 2 Christmas houses and just left one, to make room for the food.
I used my favorite Christmas dinnerware by Lenox "Winter Greetings". I have a big set , a complete setting for at least 20 people plus serving pieces so I like using this for big parties.
I used 2 sets of silver plated flatware
A few people did not make it to the group picture but this was the majority.
Lots of food for sure so guests were able to pack doggy bags at the end of the party.
Thank you all so much for taking time out of your busy schedule. I hope you all stay healthy cause this the is the time of the year when we overdo it and then our body resistance go down.
Thanks especially to the hostesses for continually hosting parties even during this busy season.

ReplyDeleteChristine: I purposely went looking for your post today, hoping to find your beautiful dishes paired with one of those wonderful buffet suppers you prepare. Everything is just perfect. I just bought this year Lenox Winter Greetings Plaid, and the pattern complements your dishes beautifully. I think I'm finally going to have an excuse to add some of these pretty birds to my table. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

ReplyDeleteYour friends are going to miss you SO much, and losing the two of you will be such a loss to your community. But Natchez' loss is Florida's gain! :-)
Sending you my best for this wonderful, holy season. Merry Christmas, albeit a day late! :-)
