A Dinner with the Gang from Out of the Blue

We had an impromptu dinner tonight here at the house. I was not able to take pictures because I was still setting up when the gang started coming. And we were hungry. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the few that I took.

The dinnerware set I used is "Fantasy" by Mikasa.

I already had the feather balls on the table and just left them there. They go with the birds.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I have not been here much cause I have been so busy down sizing and packing. I have a Moving Sale site on Facebook. If you are interested in browsing what I have been selling, you can request to be added at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1386140495020466/
John is retiring at the end of the month and we are moving back to Florida so we can be close to the kids and  grand babies.

  1. It's 4:30 in the morning here and I can't sleep and here I see this lovely surprise, this beautiful table again and as usual. The Mikasa dishes with the birds are gorgeous, I love them.
I can't imagine you downsizing Christine and I know what it's like as I did that many years ago, but sometime or other you gotta do it! How great that you will be living near all the kids.

  3. Your impromptu table looks fabulous Christine. The Mikasa Fantasy plates are beautiful. Lovely accents with the ceramic birds and the feather balls. We downsized twelve years ago and moved to Florida. We ended up coming home again a year later (we missed our children). You are moving to where your children and grand children are and I expect you will be very happy being near them again.

  6. Christine!

YOu must be one of the few people that have more dishes than me. I can't believe your downsizing and I can't imagine undertaking your move.

I wish you the best and good luck with your move.

  8. Christine, this is a beautiful table, love the Mikasa pattern. I know you have a really big job ahead of you as you prepare to make the move. I hope you will have more time to do the things you love since you aren't going from house to house and how wonderful you will be close to the grandchildren. Plesase add me to your list.
