This is what I really call an express table setting for tea. As I have said in an earlier post, I have been extremely busy. I worked on our yard all day today. It was hot! When it becomes unbearable, I jump in the pool and cool off and then I work again. Well, John surprised me towards the night to call a restaurant downtown to see if they are open. He has been craving for seared tuna. I was not planning to post tonight because my desktop computer crashed yesterday and my laptop is just not as fast, so I do not enjoy posting from it as much. But the first comment notification I see on my email came from LadyKatherine who tells me I am featured on her blog. Thanks, Lady Katherine! I felt guilty, lol, and so I put together something so fast so I can join her for Tea Tuesday and I might as well join Marty for Tabletop Tuesday too. You can join Lady Katherine for Tea Time Tuesday at http://ladykatherinetea%20parlor.blogspot.com/
and Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/.
I am having an after dinner expresso in the family room.
Isn't that a cute expresso pot? It's only about 4 inches tall. And of course, I am using my little antique Bavarian Tirschenreuth expresso cup.
and look at that little expresso spoon and my teapot taper candle holder!

Just stopping by from Marty's to say hi to Christine, whose gorgeous pool I envy so much! Jane F
ReplyDeleteChristine, I love your teacup! It is adorable and so is your teapot. Is your little teapot a Richard Ginori pattern? That ribbon curling on it looks so familiar. I adore both. So neat
ReplyDeleteHave fun with Janie!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Christine,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post for only 10 minutes.
Love that tea cup!
It's a sweet setting. I do love that cup.
ReplyDeleteThat candlestick is sooo cute! I just love it...hope you are having a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteHey, Christine!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know that. I thought it was because I love Richard Ginori. I have a small set of pots de creme dishes and also some demitasse cups and a small teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl in a RG pattern called Italian Fruit. But your pattern is another favorite.
Seems I'm a bit of a china nut. I haven't scratched the surface with mine yet in terms of my blog posts, but I will post more as time permits. I usually post my finds from Marshall's and TJ Maxx, etc. I guess I should break out my good china and have some fun with that.
Be sure to post lots of pics of your visit. Hugs to you and Janie and the hubbies, too...
XO,
Sheila :-)
The cutie cup is just adorable. To die for.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful TT and enjoy the best of the w/end.
huggies...

Christine, If that isn't the most unusual little tea cup, I don't know what is. I love its little feet and the handle! And that candlestick and napkin ring..... where do you find all these adorable, special things? How fun it all is. You sure have been busy lately. Hope you're finding time to relax, too. :-)
ReplyDeletehugs, Sue
Your espresso cup is darling...so unique. That candlestick is screaming my name...it wants to live at my house:)
ReplyDeleteHow have you been? I'm trying to get back to it.
