This is the view right now from my desk in the home office. The pansies made it through the winter and the peach trees are now blooming. The oak trees have lost all their leaves. It's been raining on and off.
This green umbrella is what I picked from CNS when I won the giveaway of Gloria of http://thelittleredhousewiththewhiteporch.blogspot.com/ Thanks Gloria, it's perfect! Daffodils are blooming.
I bought some tulips and hyacinths from Walmart. They were only a $1 each and planted them under the oak tree. They will probably die soon but maybe they'll come back and spread next year.
The jasmines made it through winter also. You can see the peach trees and 2 small Japanese magnolia trees also blooming behind the arbor.

I can't believe all the blooms you have there! We have a lot of trees and I see the tulips all around too. Looks beautiful!
Your yard is beautiful. Can't believe you have iris blooming already. I did like spring about a week ago better than I like spring this week. Cold and rainy here in Birmingham. Don't count on the tulips blooming again next year. They just don't seem to do well as perennials in the South. I have to plant new ones each year.
Lovely yard Christine. Our buds are just sprouting after the last hard freeze we had. I'm just glad to see anything green. Your tulips and hyacinths are beautiful. I always feel refreshed to see the new growth!
VERY PRETTY.I am so glad spring is here.Mostmof my daffodils and hyacinths have already bloomed out. The bradford pears have been beautiful.
Just beautiful Christine-enjoy! No flowers here yet, my daffs are getting fatter though:@)
Goodness.... it's definitely spring time in your area..... I love all your beautiful flowers!!!
Thank God for spring!
Beautiful blooms, Christine. The first picture should be in your header. I have forgotten what you planted to climb over your arbor....it is so lush! How lucky you are that spring has arrived in Natchez!
XO,
Janie
Your blooms are so pretty! Your iris is so gorgeous! I can't wait til mine bloom, but it won't be for a few more weeks for us.
Everything looks just lovely Christine. I loved that white iris too.
Thanks for sharing your touches of Spring. It was a gray/raining day here. I had hoped to take pics of the blooming trees - maybe tomorrow.
That white iris is gorgeous! Mine are all shades of purple, I may have to try some white ones. I wish I lived somewhere with a shorter winter season...I am so much happier when there are flowers all around! Beautiful photos!
Hi there! I'm following you! Hugs
OOhhhh Christine that's NO fair!! *winks* But all your blooms are so pretty!! I have my fingers crossed for your tulips and that white iris is TDF! Vanna
