I am still pretty busy so I just did a simple tablescape by the pool. Tablescape Thurs. is hosted by Susan of http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ and it is one of my favorite memes. Please visit her and her participants. You will see a lot of creative tables.
We have been swimming everyday since the pool was done. I prepared iced tea just to cool us off and a few peach cobbler, brownies and Oreo cookies to snack on.
I bought the mermaid pitcher set at Marshall's in Baton Rougeabout a month ago. AJ loves mermaids so I thought I would use the set during her visit.
Then, I found these mermaid candle holders at Marshall's in Florida and I thought they would be perfect to use with the mermaid pitcher set.
I just took this pic before dark. I love the light in the pool that changes to different colors. It's more evident when it is darker.

Okay, I will just come out and say I'm quite envious of your gorgeous new pool and the surrounding trees in the background giving you such a sense of privacy. That being said, you did a great job coming up with details befitting said pool. The blue in the table setting is PERFECT against the water in your pool.
