Iguana in a Japanese Garden

We went to a Japanese Garden in the West Palm Beach area. I cannot remember the name. Sorry! Anyway, I just want to share the pictures of the huge Iguana who was just sitting on the tree by the water.
There he is,. Isn't he a beauty? He did not even move while we were there.
I hope you enjoyed this post. For more outdoor and watery pictures, please visit Susan at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ and 2sweetnsaxy at http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/ for more outdoor and watery pictures. Thanks to our gracious hosstesses for these 2 wonderful memes.
I appreciate your visits and your comments very much!

Ooh, that is a big Iguana!! I am not used to reptiles and they still give me goosebumps!! AJ does not seem to mind. She looks so young in these pictures so it must have been a while ago.

Very nice post, Christine!! :-)

Great shots Christine! That's a big lizard, but he's kind of cute. And AJ is adorable, how old was she here? She doesn't seem to mind him in the least. I really enjoyed seeing these beautiful summery scenes! Kathy

That is a big iguana. I am sure most of them around there are larger than usual. The highlight of your post was the darling little girl.

He is beautiful! I used to have one for a pet... He was abandoned and neglected so I brought him home. Hubby wasn't happy, but he bought a huge cage and all the heat rocks for him and soon he was thriving... a little wild tho and I had to hold him with gloves on cause he was the size of the one you have in that photo... Iguanas make wonderful pets tho!

Do they bite?

We almost walked into one in the Bahamas, and it scared me to death! Yours looks much friendlier :)
