This is one of my favorite china set but I do not know why I have not used them until now. I have had them for at least a year.
Since I am using one of my favorite china, I thought I would use one of my favorite Lladro figure too, as a centerpiece. I think the color blends, especially her skirt.
Isn't she beautiful? I got her from Grand Cayman.
I bought the French tablecloth from the flea market of St. Maarten on the French side.
I love the gracious and dainty pattern and colors and I like that the color of the edging is silver since most of my china has gold rims. I found this set on Ebay and it is a big set, service for 12 with lots of extra serving pieces.
Heavy silver plated figural napkin holders flanked with silver plated flatware. I think the flatware set is vintage William Rogers & Sons but I cannot remember the pattern name.
The purple glasses are La Rochere's Lyonnaise. The big ones are Italian made.
Lavender bundle S & P shakers.
Pretty and swirly S & P shakers.
Love the shape of this serving bowl.
The set did not come with a coffee or teapot but it had sugar and cream servers, so I just dug out another pot that has some purple in it from my teapot collection.
Gravy boat
The set also came with a tureen but it had no lid so I just used it as a vase.
I almost posted a St. Patrick's table, which I put together last night. Good thing, I double checked the date of Kathleen's St. Patrick's Day table challenge. Be sure you don't miss it on the 13th.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this tablescape. I really do appreciate your visits very much. I also appreciate all the hostesses.

Wow, all these beautiful things come together with your artistic touch. I also like the man on the horse in one of the photos. What fun it must be to dine at your house.
Christine this table is stunning. I love the dishes. And because I love a little bit of mix match the different pattern on the coffee pot is fabulous! Your Llardo goes beautifully.

My oh my!...Where to begin?
Your lovely Lladro figure is simply divine with those dishes, your favorite china. Your beautiful heavy silver plated napkin holders, with silver plated flatware go so well with your overall tablescape theme and vignette. The purple glasses re lovely also...
And what adorable Lavender bundle Salt & Pepper shakers. Love the swirly ones too.
What a artistic, yet exquisitely dramatic table setting Christine. I love the coordinating coffee pot on the cake stand that went so well with the cream and sugar, set up on the buffet. A dream!
Have marvelous week and thanks for sharing with us all.

Best greetings, Johanna
Christine - this table is wonderful and I do love that china. Every piece on the table is so special, down to the darling "lavender" salt and pepper shakers. My favorite part of the post, though, is when you were able to pull out the teapot from you teapot collection. I cannot imagine how many you must have! It really made me want to have a peek at them. Maybe, when The Tablescaper does her next, "Where do you keep it all?" - lol!!
What a glorious table - beautiful dishes!!!
It's absolutely exquisite. I love the china, and the way you were able to do things like compliment it with that coffee pot is just wonderful!
Can't wait to see your St. Pat's table. I am so glad I am gaining some extra time to enjoy table snooping. Maybe someday soon I'll be able to do a table of my own again.

Christine,
This is truly beautiful. I too have Edelstein Maria Teresa china, but mine is a dfferent pattern. I love the delicate feel of the dishes and the beautiful edges. Mine came with a coffee pot and the sugar bowl actually still had sugar in it! I have a lid, but no tureen. Too bad the patterns aren't the same. I absolutely love how elegant this table looks. The S & P stole my heart. Dianne
