Christmas Eve Dinner Table

I hope you all had a Blessed and enjoyable Christmas. We had a Christmas party early, on the 19th because some of my friends were working on Christmas and some went on a skiing trip. So, for Christmas eve, John, I and Debjani, a friend visiting from New York had a nice quiet dinner for 3.

I set the table using my black and platinum Biltmore in "Holland Platinum" pattern. I thought the medallion in the center mimics that of a snowflake.

Doesn't the snowflakes on the coconut cupcakes match the medallion on the plates?
Keeping up with the silvery motif, I used my faux diamond and silver napkin rings and pewter flatware. I should have used silver flatware but I was lazy to dig them out and these were already in the kitchen.

I was so glad to have these napkin, I really like them and they wash and dry very well and they look elegant on the table.

No tablecloth necessary. I just started with a sequined placemat, followed by a fluted silver plate charger, then the Biltmore "Holland Platinum" dinner and salad plates.
I  cut some holly berries from outside, gathered a few silver balls and with 2 tapered candles and my cupcakes, I had a festive centerpiece.

I used black goblets and clear crystal stems.

Hope you enjoyed our simple table. Now, it is time to prepare for the New Year. If you are traveling, stay safe. I hope the new year brings everybody and our families, more blessings, happiness, peace, love and health.

Thank you for the pleasure of your visits. And thank you to the hostesses.

Lovely and elegant table for three. I love the silver touches. The cupacakes are adorable and I love those napkin rings!
We spent C'mas Eve at my mom's, so I have no table. We were 10 and some greatgrand kids of hers.
Happy new year ahead my friend.
