One morning last week, my daughter dropped off my granddaughter, Reese with me while she went jogging. It is very convenient because they only live next door. As soon as they stepped inside the door, I asked Reese what she wanted to do. She said without hesitation, "Tea Party!!" It was 72 degrees and sunny outside, so I said "Why not!.
And so with Reese's help, we gathered our selected tea things on the back porch, I brewed some tea and then we were ready.
With a nice and bright morning, I thought this bee set would be appropriate.
And bunny is ready to welcome spring.
Bee napkin rings
I have some bee salad plates and for an impromptu tea party, I just could not find them. But of course, I located them in the garage all packed up nicely in a bin afterwards. But, I found this pretty springy plate. I think I won it from one of the blog giveaways. Sorry, but I cannot remember who but I thank you, cause it is really pretty and I love it especially the edges.
These bee cups and saucers were perfect. I was so lucky to find them on clearance at Homegoods on one of our travels, and boxed, a set of 2 for $3.99. Scored!!!
Look at the little bee inside the cup! Cute!
I used this dainty tea linen with pretty embroideries for our table topper.
Oreos (Reese's favorite), food for the gods and merengue for our sweets.
When Reese's 2 brothers came home from school and found out we had a tea party, they said "No fair, we had to miss the goodies", lol.
Love this bee set!
Reese is enjoying her raspberry tea, cooled with a little ice.
When we first had a tea party, I taught Reese how to hold the teacup like a lady and she remembered. See how dainty her little fingers are!
Lastly I just want to share a picture of my late blooming Christmas cactus. Yep! It is just blooming right now.
Thank you again so much for visiting. And thanks especially to the gracious and hard working hostesses. I would like to link to the following fun memes.

Sweet fun post. What a lovely tea party.
Bees and butterfly and Reese - what could be better. She's a doll and a perfect model. So glad you shared and linked this fun tea time on the porch!
What an adorable tea party with an adorable little lady! I love the tea set but Reece really wins the prize for being the center of attention! She's a little doll! Thanks so much for sharing this darling post with us.
Blessings,

Christine, Reese is precious, and she's learning a lot from her grandmother. Look at that pinky finger sticking up while she drinks her tea! Your bee tea set is so pretty, but I love those cups and saucers. What a great deal you got on those. I know the grandchildren are enjoying having you close by as much as you are enjoying them.
Aren't you the sweetest grandma... lovey tea party!
Oh Christine, what a sweet time making wonderful memories! I just a sweet tea party like this one! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Christine,
Beautiful blessing from heaven above! I just know how much your Grandmother's heart cherished this special tea party with your little miss.
Such sweet china and tea cups too!
Blessings,
Jemma
A wonderful share and although I was here before, seeing adorable Reese and your tea celebration today I have returned with a heavy heart. Smiling Sally passed away yesterday. A sadness for all of us who knew her so well. I had to come back and make sure I left each comment as I do each week and I had missed some. Sally rarely did. Even when she was so ill. Anyway I am going to share my blues in Monday posts to honor her memory and pray for her family. :-(
What a wonderful time to share with your granddaughter. I love that adorable tea set! I am not a tea drinker, but I sure appreciate setting a pretty tea party table like you have done! Thank you so much for sharing over at Celebrate Your Story!
Love this Christine. That is the sweetest tea. I enjoy tea now and then. Thanks for sharing your special tea at DI&DI.

How adorable Christine! Your tea guest is just too cute! I adore those buzzy bee napkin holders, too, how fun!
What a wonderful time together and I am jealous you having your DD next to you and that cutie can visit for a lovely tea party. I love all the dishes for spring you chose and the cute setting for her you did and specially the memories of these moments are priceless.
Yes, we're all sad in blogland for Sally's passing, I am very down this day.
Blessings to you and yours Christine.
