Fountain Makeover

I don't know about you but with the weather being so nice, I have been so busy, mostly working in the garden. That's the reason I missed announcing my 300th post. That's right, last Saturday's post was my 300th. That means I am late in announcing and preparing for a giveaway and I haven't gone shopping for it yet. So, I hope you don't mind giving me another week to prepare and I will post the giveaway next Sat.
I am linking with 5 memes:
Sally's Blue Monday at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/
Susan's Metamorphosis Monday at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/
Marty's Tabletop Tuesday at http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/
Please visit all our gracious hostesses and their participants and I promise you, you will find lots of creativity and pretty items.

For today, I am sharing our fountain's latest look. There really were not many changes so let me see if you can spot them.

The pictures in the mosaic below is the "Before". The picture on the top right of the mosaic is the "Before of the before", lol.

See how I added the boy and girl figures?

Do you remember the wire shelving that I bought from Ross last week? Well, it is by the fountain now, holding some plants, lantern, candles and other accessories. You will notice that I have a lot of blue and aqua pots and lanterns and even the tail of the mermaid is blue.

I added the plant stands that I also bought from Ross on the left column and placed some plants on them.

I hang a planter with yellow petunias on the right wall.

How do you like my floating faux water lilies? I laugh everytime I see them cause I remember something that Laura of Tomarie has, lol! Laura, Laurie and Vanna would probably know what I mean.

The peacock is a birthday gift from my sister.
I bought the electric lantern from Old Time Pottery in Fort Myers when I visited my daughter in February. I just keep it on and I really like the glow projected from it especially at night.
The jade plant that my friend gave me before winter last year is very healthy.

I really like my garden figures there.
Here are some evening shots. I am sorry some are blurred but I was lazy to use the tripod.
More evening shots!
Hope you enjoyed the minor transformation of our fountain. I appreciate your visits and comments very much.
Thanks to our hostesses for all these fun memes.

Lovely. I had two fountains at our last home, but with the lake here I felt we should skip this time around... though I do miss them. Dropping by from BNOTP.

Christine I just love your covered patio and fountain!! And your comment about Laura's house totally cracked me up! I think she could really use some of those floating flowers haha!! *winks* I think the figures look best right in front of that floral rack! Love em there! What a lovely place to hang out in the evening with a glass of wine. I wanna do that with you one of these years. Vanna
