Easter Table, April, 1, 2018

Although we won't be spending Easter here, I decided to set the table for the special occasion. We will be spending the holiday with my daughter, Rochelle and her family. We will have an Easter egg hunt there on Sunday and it will be fun to watch the grandkids having so much fun. What better way to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus than be with family. My neighbor and daughter Tina and her family will be there too. and I am sure my son and DIL as well.
I hope you all have a Happy Easter as well.
My granddaughter Reese, helped me set up this table.

Lots of bunnies hopping on the table!

I wanted to use the green flatware but Reese wanted the pink one so we compromised and used both, lol.
The dinnerware pattern is "Cameo Florals" made in the orient, I think Malaysia.
 Bunny S & P shakers

I mixed a pink and white Limoges teapot with the teacup set that matches the dinnerware

Lastly, I'd like to show this bunny. I think he is so cute!

Thanks for stopping by. Thanks to the hostesses too.
I hope you all enjoy this joyous holiday as we welcome Jesus get resurrected from the dead.

Raclette Dinner per Grandkids' Request, 3/22/2018

My grandkids have been requesting for us to have a raclette dinner. Finally, I succumbed to their wish and prepared one last night. They love the idea of grilling on the table.

As you can see, we grilled some mini kielbasa sausages and potatoes with rosemary. I forgot to take a picture when the cheese was grilling. Those individual pans go underneath the grill to melt the cheese.
I used my square Polish pottery salad plates in varying designs.
I also served some salami and prosciutto.

 Various crackers and pickles.

I use the 2 oz jiggers to serve Ningxia red, a drink that is very high in antioxidants. We drink it everyday and it help us stay healthy.
The pickled okra were so good, a little spicy but not too much, with just a little kick. Even the grandkids were able to eat them.

The kids, except for the oldest boy, actually do not like raclette that much. It has a very powerful smell, so I also served some brie.

I gave the kids sparkling non alcoholic red grape juice cocktail and they were so excited, pretending it to be wine and they kept toasting each other, lol.

And this concludes our raclette dinner. I hope you enjoyed looking at the photos as much as we enjoyed the experience. Thank you so much for stopping by and thanks to the hostesses of the memes that I will be linking to.
