Relaxing on Massager with Quimper

Hi everyone! I hope your week is going good so far. Mine's busy as usual. I just got back from Dallas on Sunday evening, unpacking 3 suitcases while packing another one for me to take to California on Thursday, for my classmate's son's funeral. Though it will be nice to see everybody there, it will be a very sad reunion. Anyway, I did not want to miss Tuesday's parties so in between doing laundry, unpacking and packing, I am posting this. I am getting tired from all these traveling so to relieve that, I decided to get a massage while sipping tea with my Quimper tea set.

I am linking with:
Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/
Lady Katherine for Teatime Tuesday at http://ladykatherineteaparlor.blogspot.com/
WandaLee for Tuesday Tea for 2 at http://theplumedpen.blogspot.com/
Martha and Terri for Teacup Tuesday at http://www.marthasfavorites.com/

I picked some flowers in the garden to put in a clear vase.

The massager is in the master bedroom and I can watch TV there too while relaxing. I love this massage chair, it massages your legs and the butt, lol. We ordered it when we tried it at a medical convention in Chicago. I couldn't get up after I sat down and I had to justify the cost by telling dh that we pay almost $200 each to get a massage when we are on a cruise for 1 hr. which would cost $4000 so, 10 massages will more than pay for this and we can stay on it anytime for as long as we want. That's all it took to convince him, lol. He's easy!

I took a few pictures of the dresser top for Marty's Table top Tuesday.

Do you think I like jewelry? The top drawer of the dresser has jewelry organizers and they are full. LOL! Of course I keep the fine ones in the safe.

We won the Tiffany style dragonfly lamp from an estate auction downtown.
And yes, I am packing for another trip. Do you see the luggage back there? Kathleen of Cuisine Kathleen suggested I just keep one packed all the time but you know you have to wash the dirty clothes after each trip so that is not even possible. This packing and unpacking business is really exhausting.

We have a good view of the pool from here too.

Well, I better keep this post short since I have to finish packing. Thank y'all for coming by and thanks to our gracious hostesses for hosting. Do treat yourselves and visit them and their participants and enjoy their blog entries.

LOL you are like me, although I keep all my jewelry in the top drawer of my night stand. It was made specifically for jewelry!! I don't have alot of fine jewelry, and I wear most of it daily any way.

Oh Christine your Quimper tea set is just gorgeous. I know Debbie would love it. The flowers are so pretty too. I would love to have a massage in that wonderful chair. I hope you get a little rest from all the traveling. Your dresser is gorgeous and I love the Tiffany lamp and the jewelry looks great. Nice to have it where you can just grab it and go. Sorry for your friends loss, I know this will not be an easy trip. I will keep all in prayer. Thanks so much for joining TTT. God Bless. Hugs, Marty

I HATE packing! That chair looks like it would be soooo nice.

Thanks for stopping by. The wedding was actually last week so I've been home a week but I'm ready to be back on the move. I know the situation isn't a good one but I hope you have a little fun in Cali.

I love your Quimper tea set. I am just getting to know a bit about Quimper from some bloggers that also love it. How nice it would be to have tea in that marvelous chair. You deserve it after all of the traveling you have been doing. I don't have to pack often as we travel not so very often, but I hate it. I am always afraid to forget something important {and I usually do}.

Have a good week, Christine!

Your bed is gorgeous...and yes I think we do have the same, or very similar, mirrors. Mine had a broken piece of mirror when I was gifted with it but I just went to the glass shop and had a new one cut. Yes, traveling can be tiring at times, too much of a good thing!

The room is beautiful. I would love a chair like that. You should be a pro on packing. I came home with clean clothes from my dads house so that made it easy to unpack :)

Yours is the second blog post about Quimper I've read in 2 days...I'd never heard of it before, very pretty. Your massage chair looks so much better than the ones I've seen. I have the liner for my chair that rolls and kneeads all the way up and down your back...I have to get it out to use it, but it does feel good.

I'm sure your friend will be so glad to have you there.

I have never heard of Quimper. It is folksy and very pretty. What is that, the style or the makers name? Is that the tea cup on the bottom left?

Terri

Hi Christine...

So sorry to hear about your friend's son's death. It's so heartbreaking when a young person passes away, isn't it? Well, not that it's not sad at any age...

Your massage chair is delightful....oh how I could use that. It must be really good for your circulation too....and I could SO use a nice little break.

Love, love, love the Quimper. I used to dream of having some of it myself....now I have no room.

Have a safe trip.

Huggies,
Spencer
