Tea with a Good Friend

This is my last Fall tea setting before I start using Christmas china. Last week, my good friend Doris, saw a bread on Facebook that I baked, and then she left me a comment to save a slice for her and she would be over in the morning. Doris is the kind of friend who is close enough that she does not need to give me any notice to come over. She has even seen me in my pajamas, lol.

Anyway, I baked a new one, an apple cinnamon loaf, to share with her.

I used Polish pottery tea pot, oval tray, mugs, loaf baker and dessert plates and placed them in a large bamboo tray. I like to mix  and match them.

I lit an apple fragrant candle to expel more apple aroma in the air.

We sat in front of the fireplace (though it was still too hot to light it) in the family room and had a really nice visit.

Thanks for the visit, Doris. I always enjoy when you stop by. We should do it more often.
Thanks also to all who visit and host.

How lovely to share a cup of tea and home baked goods with a good friend! Your setting is just so cozy there by the fireplace although it's not lit. I always find a room with a fireplace is especially comfy for company. Thank you for sharing with us at Tea Time and enjoy your week, Christine.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Christine,
If I lived close, I'd be popping by for some tea and apple bread, too. I love your Polish pottery and the loaf pan is so pretty. You sure get good use from all of it, which is wonderful.

You put out a really nice spread to enjoy with Doris! I LOVE it when friends drop in for a bite to eat, especially during the holidays! And I love friends who can be "pajama buddies" without any shame! I've got a few of those, too!

Very pretty, Christine! Have a great week!
