Lunch in the Gazebo

We had a really nice week, weather wise, but tomorrow and Thursday night, we will be having freezing temps again, So we thought we better take advantage of the nice weather while we still can. My friends and I planned to have lunch together but there was no time to prepare since I had a dental appointment this morning. Anyway, Brenda went to the Thai Restaurant to buy some take out food and we just decided to eat at home.

The temperature outside was almost 60 degrees so I set up the table in the gazebo as soon as I got back from my dental appointment.

It was a very casual luncheon, kinda like a picnic. I just took some soda cans and a water bottle for our drinks but took out a moscato too, in case anybody was in the mood to drink.

I borrowed my planter with blooming blue crocus from the fountain area and used it as a centerpiece. I took out some peacock plates and bamboo flatware to use also, along with the brass plate chargers.

We had Mexican sushi and Chicken basil noodle.
I thought my bee napkin rings would be fun to use in this garden setting.

Both the sushi and chicken basil noodles were very tasty, sooooo good!
Here are my lovely guests: Noemie and Brenda.

And we could see a bunch of white iris blooming at the bottom of the hill.
Thanks for stopping by. I have been very busy cleaning the yard that is why I haven't been visiting. I would like to link with

Such a pretty table! It looks like you're weather has been gloomy like ours. We've had so much rain & not a lot of sun.

You are more productive than I am. Just returning from the dentist there is no way I would entertain. :D
Food looks delish.
Nothing in bloom here yet, but had to travel further South last weekend and saw some daffodils already in bloom.

Oh I'm so jealous of your weather and flowers blooming! What a cute table- those peacock dishes look perfect for an outdoor setting. I had to beg off on a luncheon today because of the bad weather we've having. Enjoy your spring- I'd love to be there instead of here!

What a lovely setting and you already have spring flowers up! How lucky. Sounds like it was a perfect day and a perfect lunch. Those plates are just fabulous and so perfect for your lunch party!

I read your comment on Deborah's blog about having grown up with maids. How fun and I am sure I could get used to it!

It must be nice to be able to sit outdoors already! We woke up to a record -6 degrees this morning. Crazy! This is MARCH!!! We should NOT be in the negative digits!!!!!

You set a great table for enjoying those few hours of warmth. The dishes are fabulous!!! The design is so lush!!! They go great with the chargers.

I hope all your bud survived the freeze!
