Fall Cloche Party, 2010

It's also Party time! If you don't want to miss the fun, go to Marty's Fall Cloche Party at http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/ and join us.

I put a cheese dome and a pastry dome on a tray and added various fall stuff into them and I got me decorated cloches for fall.
They are in the family room.

Do you like our new table? We replaced the one that was covered in faux alligator skin, which both John and I love but this one is more functional. It has drawers on both sides, the sizes of which are perfect for each set of flatware. Yep, I am moving my flatware there. So far, I moved 2 sets, but I have a lot more, lol, just have not had enough time to organize. It is solid mahogany and it is made in Indonesia. I saw it last Saturday in an antique shop downtown, showed it to John and told him I like it. He said to give my phone number to the seller and ask her to call me when they have it discounted 50%. So, I went to the seller and asked her how much it is and she told me it is 50% the tag price, lol. So we bought it. It was delivered yesterday morning.

The other table went to the store.

I took my tall cloches on stands from the porch and added some pumpkin people and placed them on either side of the FR TV.

It was hard to take pictures of these without the glare because of the sliding doors.

Do you see what I mean?

A little corner in the kitchen next to the wet bar entrance.

I changed what was in the terrarium on the back porch with something fallish. I made it look like a pumpkin patch.

I left this outside and it got rusty. So I sanded and painted it and made it kinda fall-ish and took it to the store. I will see if it will sell.

That's it folks! I did not do much today because I am still busy but I did not want to miss the party. Thanks Marty, for throwing it. And thanks y'all for coming by to see the little display that I have.

Oh Wow! A coffee table that will hold your flatware! How great that is! It's a wonderful table Christine - especially with all of that storage. I bet John was shocked with the shop owner said it was 50% off! Your cloches look so cute. That pretty terrarium will probably sell before you get out of the store. laurie

Christine- So sorry for being away so long- it has been so hectic and I've had so little time to catch up on my reading. Let me say that I love your new coffee table- it has tons of drawer space for your silverware! I'm sure it was a pain to have to search for it in the laundry room...
Loved seeing your artwork- that magnolia was gorgeous- I liked it with a plain background, myself- but that's an individual thing. The flower itself was magnificent!
Your cloches and their contents are all so cute and fall festive. I especially like the one on the coffee table with the ghost in it. That tray is filled with loads of goodies, too!
Thanks for always coming by for visits. I really appreciate it, my friend.
hugs, Sue
