Party in the Barn!

The long awaited barn party is here! Yipee!! Hop on over at http://happierthanapiginmud.blogspot.com/ and join the fun.
Sorry, Lynn, I don't really have a lot of barnyard animals but I do have a lot of bunnies, ducks chickens and others I use for decor, will they count? I just took pictures of a few of what I have and posted them. I don't have time to be creative because I have been so busy trying to look for stuff that I can part with to sell at the store because Natchez is having an Antiques Forum from Thursday to Saturday so I know there will be a lot of people coming through the city. And one of their activities is Antiques Row Shopping, which is where our shop is. John has been pressuring me into taking more stuff to the store. Do you think he wants to get rid of my stuff? LOL!
Hubby and I are signing up and attending 2 of the forums on Friday and Sat, " Glass in the Southern Home" and Natchez Furniture Trade". Wouldn't that be exciting?
Anyway, below are my animal S & P shakers that I organized in shelves above the washer and dryer in the laundry room. I use this room as an extension to my kitchen because the location is right next to it.

This is the other painting I bought when we went to Chicago last month. Most of you know I love peacocks and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.

And this is the other one I bought from the same place. I have shown you this a few weeks ago when I demonstrated how I frame my art work.

I also love bunnies and I am showing you a few here. I have more but it will take me all day to take pictures, lol.

Hubby loves ducks so I placed 2 ducks on his bedside table.

I also did oil paintings of ducks for him and they are hanging in his clinic office below.

Here's a chicken and her baby. It's a tea pot.

How about a carabao? Do you know what it is? I think you call them water buffalos here. We have a lot of them in the farms in the Philippines.

And in our front porch are these bird cages. The birds must have flown away because the cage is open, lol. But the lamb or are they sheep (?) are staying put, except for the mom who got out and is on the ground trying to figure out how to get the others out.

Thanks, Lynn for throwing this Barnyard Bash. I had a blast!
Thank you all for stopping by!

Fun farm animals :o) I have to say I think the duck paintings in your hubby's office are awesome (would love to see a closer view) and extra special since they were done by you. And the caribou is neat...I have one of those somewhere! (I still have some boxes that we did not unpack from our move to our home here!)

Blessings & Aloha!

Hi Christine!
Your blog is just
adorable, as is this
post. My mom and I
visited Natchez in April
and just loved it! I
wonder if we went into
your store?? You really
have some lovely animals
{your collections....!};
the salt and peppers are
really pretty and not
cheesy like some sets can
be : ) What a fun party!

Laundry room envy! Laundry room envy! Oh, I forgot, we're barnyarding tonight! :) I knew you would have the most wonderful thing, Christine! Love all your s & p and all your other animals. That's a precious way to keep your sheep from wandering off.
Oh, your paintings are so pretty! I saw on the news this morning that some neighborhood in California had an over abundance of peacocks and the folks were complaining! :) Since they get up to 15 pounds I guess they would make a mess! ;)
You did good, Farmerette Christine! :)
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)

Looks like a full ark to me, quite a menagerie. Good ting you do not have to really feed them! I especially love the beautiful Peacock Painting. I would actually own real peacocks if my husband were not so practical~
