Life Is A Beach By The Pool!

Hello, my friends! It is beach time of the year so let us create it on the back porch.

We even have a pretend beach, except we have no sand so I will settle for a bottled one.

Yep! Skinny dipping is allowed. There is a lot of privacy back here so nobody else will see you, except of course, your co swimmers.

I already own lots of beachy dishes but when I saw this set at Marshall's last weekend, I had to get them. I love the color and the crackle look and the fact that the edge are not evenly round. They remind me of wavy water.
There is my bottled sand that I bought from West Elm in Atlanta.

It is also a "Flip flop" season!

I also bought the shell box at Marshall's last weekend. We had to take my vehicle for service in Baton Rouge when we passed by the store, and so we had to go back there.

This week, my daughter Tina and her family are visiting so I have swimmers in our pretend beach.

Thanks for all your visits and thank you to our hostesses for another fun meme.

Hello you! It has been awhile since I have been by and this post sure was a treat! I couldn't pass by those pretty dishes if I were you either. They are as pretty as the water in the ocean! And I like the wavy edges. You have so many cute beach accessories, too. How nice to have family visiting...the baby is getting SO big! I know you have been busy and I have been catching you on Facebook a little. So glad you had a ball with your college friends!

Take care and hello to John!

XO,
Janie

Our summer came in like a lion with triple digit temps. I WANT TO jump right in your pool! Everything looks so refreshing. You are right about those dishes, LOVE THEM! I was going to buy a few and put them back(OH MY!)
Have a wonderful visit with your family.
Big Hugs to you,

Chillin' poolside is the next best thing to being on the beach!!! You have captured the essence of beach living here, and I just love those new dishes!!! The color of them is perfect for this setting! Great details all over the table, epecially the fun Adirondack chair candle holder. I have relatives in Baton Rouge! I used to travel there with my family a lot as a child. It has been many years since I visited, but I have fond memories of it!

Your grandbaby is so adorable and has grown so much, goodness!! TOO CUTE! I also like this beach-pretend table, the dishes in that color are so pretty, I love them too and the elements you chose are fabulous Christine! The pool would be just as great and even better than the beach, as you don't get sanded all over the place, body and home, lol!
Hugs,
FABBY

I just knew you were going to set your beach table up by that beautiful pool of yours! I'm glad I was right. I love the colors of this one. The plates are magnificent.

Of course you know that the granddaughter is the prettiest thing on the "beach", right?

(And I giggled at the sign that says Skinny Dipping Allowed)

Love the new dishes! Your table is inviting, as always! We're finally getting a dose of those 100 degree temps, so I could use a pool right about now! Enjoy the time with the grands, and I hope you are having a good summer! ;o)
