Christmas Centerpiece Copycat

Kathleen of Let's Dish is having a challenge for us to look for a picture, copy it and then show our version for our tablescape for Dec. 11. I found mine in an old Christmas book of Southern Living at Home. Here is the photo of a centerpiece.

Here is my version. I do not have a plain white tiered tray so I used one that looks like a pewter. My friend Debjani gifted it to me, I think 2 or 3 Christmases ago. Thanks, Deb! I still love it!

By the time this posts, I won't be here anymore but enjoying some time with the kids and grandkids in FL but this is what's on the breakfast nook in the kitchen for John to enjoy while I am gone.

My glassware consists of Pfaltzgraff's Winterberry footed and old fashioned glasses and onyx wine glasses. We bought the onyx wine glass from the French flea market in New Orleans and I have had the Winterberry glass for sometime now.

I chose to use our hammered flatware because they seem to sparkle and I always associate Christmas with sparkles.

Another wonderful gift from a friend, Brenda, from a past  Christmas, is this Winterberry deviled egg server. Thanks, Brenda!

My plate chargers are ceramic with the word "Believe" and a snowflake inscribed on them.
Next comes the dining plate given by another friend, Maribel. Ain't I so lucky to have so many friends feeding my obsession? LOL!
Instead of using the matching salad plates, I thought I would mix them with my Winterberry dessert plates. I have salad plates too but I could not find them. And I thought I was pretty organized, lol. I must be getting old. I found the box but it is empty so I must have stored the plates somewhere else. I used them last year.

A tea for one Winterberry tea pot and cup combo.

There you are, do I have a good copy? Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you and your families are enjoying this Christmas season.

Christine, I love your copy cat centerpiece and the wonderful photos and how you mimicked with the tiered plates. Your layers of plates are very wonderful to mix and match. I giggled when I read the statement about searching for your salads and I have done the same but wasn't brave enough to admit it. Your tablescape is so lovely and great for your husband. Have fun in FL.

Christine, I agree, your copycat centerpiece is prettier than the original. I love the tiers and the packages - all just so cute! Your table is fabulous, I read the post when your friend gave you the dishes, I bet she is as proud as a peacock to see how beautifully you have displayed them. I will have to bookmark this tablescape so I can come back and refer to it when I do my copycat table (I am seriously thinking of copying yours) I mean it is just so pretty. Your plates are so similar to the Royal Hunt plates from Noritake that I have. But alas, I do not have anything to compare with your chargers. :( Maybe I better pick something easier. A really fantastic job!!!

Hello Christine, what a wonderful interpretation of that picture! You did a fabulous job creating your own centerpiece and tablescape. I actually love yours more! The pewter tiered tray was a great choice, the cutlery complements it well. And all your festive table ware looks perfect. John is lucky : )

Christine, I love the idea of the tiered present centerpiece and your entire table is so pretty and happy!! I have "lost" dishes too, only to find them when I'm looking for others! Hope you are enjoying your time with your family. Linda

Yes, Christine! You have a great copy and this whole table is one of my very favorites that you have done! I have an inventory list in my computer, which has a place for "location" of all of the pieces that I own. The problem is that I keep moving things around and forgetting to update the list - ugh!! Have fun in Florida. I just returned and did not have time to do Kathleen's challenge!!
