Fall Table Using Myott Staffordshire "Indian Tree" Dinnerware

I am home for 2 weeks and then back to Florida again, so I thought I would play while I am here. After cleaning up the house entirely (never got to the outside yet), I set a Fall table in the formal dining room . I wanted it to look a little formal so I dug out my Myott Staffordshire "India Tree" dinnerware from the garage. I think I found this big set from Ebay, stored them away and never used them until now.

I pulled out my rust colored ruffly placemats.
Starting with a leafy plate charger I bought from Walmart some years ago, I started layering the plates, dinner, salad and bowl.
Then I pulled out a clear green vase from the floor behind the tread mill and stuck some various orange and yellow flowers in it.
I pulled out 2 types of flatware sets, an orange and this reddish rust colored ones and you can see which one won. I think they work better with the placemats.

The set even came with sauce bowls and servers.

The embroidered runner came from either TJ Maxx or Homegoods.  I have matching throw pillows but I took those to our Cape Coal, FL home.

Green wine glasses and gooblets with a very subtle orange tint

The set came with a doz. set of teacups and saucers but I only used 8. I had a sugar and creamer servers but no coffee pot so I went to my teapot cabinet to pick one that would work with the set and I found this. Now, I have another project when I am watching Rochelle's kids, go hunting for a matching teapot. This teapot is also made by Myott but the pattern name is Hedgerow.
I think the pattern is very Fallish, don't you?

Purple Fall Challenge

I created a tablescape in the dining room and then I read that Kathleen of Cuisine Kathleen is having a purple Fall challenge. I had to join in so I will share the other one next week and I created my challenge entry on the breakfast table in the kitchen nook.
I dug out some purple plates from the garage. The table cloth and napkins are April Cornell's, some of the ones I won from her tablescape contest a few years ago.

I remember having a purple wreath so I took it out of the storage bin from the attic. I thought it would be perfect for my centerpiece. While I was in the attic, I spotted the "SPOOKY" letters and the haunted house so I took them down also and added them to the centerpiece. I did not want to take down my boxes of Fall decorations cause I decided not to decorate much for fall cause I am going back to Florida in another 2 weeks.
I already own these deep purple flatware so I took them out of the drawer and used wooden pumpkin napkin rings.
"Boo!" I don't think he is scary. On the contrary,  I think he is rather cute, don't you agree?

  "Artistic Accents" plates.

I hope you don't mind me adding 1 little orange S&P shakers, Kathleen. I had already taken pictures when I read the "No orange" rule.

Aren't my glasses scary enough? I don't think they scream "Fall", I think they screen "eerie"
Ghost lanterns from Zulily, one of the ones pulled out from packages that I opened when I got home.
My cute ghost house night light that I brought down from the attic.

And there it is, my purple fall table. Thank you for stopping by, Your comments are always appreciated. Thank to all the hostesses.

Blue, Orange and Green Polish Pottery in Florida Fall Table

I left a table set for Fall in our Florida home while I was there last weekend. I looked all over and could not find any orange nor green plates so I settled with blue and orange Polish pottery. Of course, if this was in our MS home, there wouldn't be any problem since I must have gazillion plates with orange and green on them. Orange is one of my favorite colors, although I have a lot of favorites.
I pulled a glass vase from one of the guest rooms and stuck some faux sunflowers in it.

I started with leaf shaped placemats, from TJ Maxx.
Then I layered the predominantly blue, orange and green Polish pottery dinner and salad plates on basket weaved plate chargers. They were on clearance at World Market and I believe they are made in the Philippines.
I love the pattern. I will have to move more Polish pottery here to lessen the load in MS.
Then I added some glass leaf shaped plates in earth tone colors.

Polish pottery S&P shakers with oil and vinegar cruets. I have repurposed these cruets for fish sauce and soy sauce though, which we use more.

I added a Himalayan salt tea light candle holder. The color is perfect.
Burlap bird napkin rings wrapped around blue napkins

And there it is.......a simple tablescape that I did in a few minutes to add some fall touches to our Florida home. Hope you like it!

Just a little update on my brave and strong granddaughter, Rea. Her MIBG scan shows no evidence of malignancy and her bilateral bone marrow biopsies came out negative. The medical team classified her response to treatment and out of 6 stages, she was classified under the best category as "Complete Response". We are very thankful for this and we couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you so much for everybody praying for her and please continue praying because she gets admitted again in the hospital on Wednesday for her last chemo, followed by her autologous bone marrow (stem cell) transplant. They will isolate her for this and I am taking advantage of the fact that I cannot visit her in the hospital, so I will go home for a few weeks. The picture below was taken a few weeks ago before we went to a tea party for the 3 sisters to see Rapunzel. Doesn't Rea look good? She has not even lost any weight.
