Asian Figures

This will be the first time I am joining Three or More Tuesday so naturally, I am very excited. Thanks to Tam at http://gypsycorner.blogspot.com/ for allowing me to join and for hosting this event. Please click on her link and check out her wonderful 3's and then go visit everyone else who is participating.
For today, I would like to show you my Asian figures. I thought they are perfect to display in the home office since they blend well with our Asian filing cabinets.
My good friend, Cindy from http://sisterhoodofthecreativehearts.blogspot.com/ told me about them and I was in love the moment I laid my eyes on them. Don't you just love the title of her blog? Please visit and leave Cindy a note. She does not have an active blog yet but we are working on her to join us because she has so much talents to share. Help me convince her!

I bought all the figures from Horchow.com except for one that I found on Ebay and therefore I got for so much cheaper. I love bargains, don't you?
I am going to show them to you individually so you can see the exquisite details. They even have tiny bangles on their arms that actually move. Remember, you can click and enlarge the photos to see more.
This is the one I got from Ebay.

Thank you so much, Tam for, sponsoring this fun event and thanks everyone for visiting!

Christine,

Your figurines are so elagant & lovely (and look wonderful with the furniture!) Each one is so detailed, you can spend a lot of time looking!

I wish I had the time to learn how to do E-bay. Some people can do it in their sleep!

Have a great week! :-)

Oh Christine, your asian figures are all just exquisite. I just love the intricate detail that each one has. They are so delicate looking and so pretty. The colors on the dresses are so pretty and with such finite detail. Then to the eggs, you know that I just stared and drooled over every one of them. You do have such wonderful collections. Great post. Hugs, Marty

I can't ever remember seeing any figurines with more vibrant color and with such perfect details. The final picture of the lady sitting in front of the Ricky Nelson book was particularly appealing to me, but they are "all" beautiful indeed.

Well you know how much I LOVE these incredible ladies. I am so drawn to their hands, so graceful and delicate. The workmanship simply amazed me and I had to have one of their sister's at my home. My client just adores her's and has now added to the collection. I really do love that black cabinet Christine and seeing it here again it is leaving me yearning. Love, Cindy
