Look What I Bought from Ebay!

I got this big package today. The UPS guy almost left with it when no one answered after he tapped the window. Luckily I saw him from the home office leaving, so I tapped the window back and he left me this package after I signed for it. I thought to myself, hmmm, what could this be? What did I buy? Hmmm, I was having another senior moment! I couldn't remember until I opened it and then, I got excited.
Isn't this a beautiful lamp? It read "Dale Tiffany" inside the shade.
Just look at the details of the shade. You should click on it.
and the crystal base and danglies. (Is that a word? LOL!)

But wait, there's another one. I bought 2!
I like this shade too.
Look at the figural base. Sorry, I have not dusted it yet.
And look at the details on the glass globe.

Do you think I am crazy? I really don't need any more lamps but when I saw this on Ebay, I wanted to have it. And after browsing on everything else listed by the seller, I saw the other lamp. So, I negotiated with the seller and asked her to give me a discount on shipping if I bought both. John always make fun of me when it comes to that kind of mentality, you know, saving money by buying more? He said I will save more if I do not buy any. LOL! Well after he got me running all over town doing errands and not fun stuff either, such as buying 16 railroad ties and a maintenance kit for the generator, I think I deserve these lamps, don't you?
Thanks for stopping by!

What beautiful finds! The shade on the first one is really quite amazing, such detail! And I always try to buy more than 1 thing from a seller in order to save on shipping, makes total sense to me. DH is lucky that you didn't buy one lamp for every railroad tie you had to get haha! Kathy

I hope you are able to display your EBay finds in a safe area, so that you can fully enjoy them. They are gorgeous and of course you deserved them for running the errands. Just think of them as bartered wages.

I received a Tiffany "style" lamp as a Christmas gift from my SIL and niece two years ago but am afraid to put it where I really want it in the family room with two "wild thangs" (GC) running around. Right now I have it in a bedroom out of the flow of traffic. But one day........

Christine, thanks so much for stopping by my cake post. I appreciate you always. Yes you can still buy cake combs. I think they sell them at specialty stores and call them an angel food cake cutter. Pat said she bought one recently. They really are the best thing in the world for cutting cake and then when you take the slice out it rests really nice on the comb so you can place it on a plate without messing it up. I think you would really enjoy having one. Thanks again for the visit. Hugs, Marty
