Let's Go Italian!

Susan at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ is hosting another tablescaping event. How fun is that? So be sure to visit her and join in.
I decided to go Italian this time and set the game table in the family room. Just for 2 since all our guests are gone.

I found the sunflowers at a garden shop. Arent they pretty and just so perfect in that vase?

Check out my Fitz and Floyd Italian chef s & p shaker. Isn't he cute? His tummy separates and 1/2 contains the salt and the other half has the pepper.
I just love the cutwork and embroideries in this tablecloth, that I picked up from one of our Crand Cayman trips. I finally got to use it. It also includes the napkins.
I found these plates at Marshall's when we were in Chicago. Good thing John was nice enough to hand carry them home. They are Meridiana ceramics made in Italy. I fell in love with the unusual shape.

The oval wooden plate chargers with handles are either from Horchow or Neiman Marcus.
My son and DIL gave me the flatware set last Christmas.

I ordered the amber bubble glassware from Amazon last year.
I bought the amber fairy lamp from an antique shop downtown.
This is the view that you see as you enter from the foyer.

Thank you so much for coming by. I hope you enjoyed my contribution this week. Now, let's all go see our gracious hostess, Susan!

Hi!!

I can see THAT POOL!!!!

Love, love your table. As usual, enlarged and then used my magnifying glass!! I fell in love with the tablecloth. I agree, the cutwork is so pretty and delicate and the colors go so well with the dishes. Actually, everything compliments each other, your glassware, flatware, candleholders and flowers. Did you plan that?? lol!!

The dishes are gorgeous. I love the shape. And what original chargers!! I went to Horchow online the other night and really didn't see much I cared for. I will wait and see what they have arriving for the holidays. I have always used my good china for Christmas Day, so I never had pretty dishes with red cardinals and green trees, etc. I think I would like a set to use over the holidays since we won't be home. Where is your home in Florida?? Do all of your children and grandkids come to you? I hope you don't have to fly again so soon! Sorry, I am being nosy.

Beautiful tablescape, Christine!
