It's Fall in the Store

I was getting so jealous of all the pretty Fall decor that I have been seeing in Blogland but I am not quite ready to decorate at home yet. So what do I do? I did a tablescape in the store, actually it's a half tablescape since the table is very narrow and small.
Thanks, Susan for this opportunity to show it off. You should all go visit Susan at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ and her participants to see really awesome and creative tablescapes.

I told you this is half a tablescape that's why the centerpiece is against the wall, lol. This is the second set of dishes I brought here. The first set I showed you last week was sold last Saturday. This particular set is one of our everyday dishes. When I bought them on line, I thought I was getting a 3 settings for 4 but instead I got 3 settings for 6, so I ended up having a settings for 18. Even if this set sells, I will still be left with a complete settings for 12. As you can see, the mugs are bulky and they take lots of shelf space that's why I decided to sell a set.

This centerpiece originally had all green candle cups. I broke one when I was carrying it to the store from the vehicle dropping it on the sidewalk. I found some orange ones at home so I just alternated the 2 colors.

Don't those chairs match the tablescape? The chairs have been sold but the buyers (2 buyers for 2 chairs) paid but have not picked them up yet. I wish they would pick them up so I can rearrange again, which is my favorite part of having the shop.

I love the ghost napkins.

Thank you all for coming by. I know this is a mini tablescape but I have a full one for you next week, a formal one. In fact, I already started setting it up so be sure you come back. Now, let's all visit Susan and the other TT participants!!

Pretty and fun! I like the 2 different colored votive holders. You are having so much fun with your shop. Think I would have to call the buyers of the chairs in the near future. :)

Great little tablescape! Are you having fun with the store?

I don't have my fall stuff out of the attic yet either, still too hot here in FL!

A very cutie pre-autumn TS… love the colour combo.
U always find the best treasures to share with us, specially me over Sweden who have another way of lifestyle, compare the American way of living.

Scandinavian simplicity rocks too…

Hi Christine,
You're so clever! I should have done half a table yesterday (instead of two tables), since I was pressed for time. When I saw the first picture, I thought, "How can she sell those -- they're so pretty!" Then you explained that you'll still have a service for 12. Whew! You had me worried! It does match the (sold) chairs perfectly. Hope the buyers pick them up soon. You might have to establish a storage fee policy!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Warmest regards,
Bill

You make me want to open a little store! How fun that you can tablescape here and at home. You will sell this table setting fast...it all looks just darling. I love the napkins and leaf plates. I also love to use big bulky mugs, but they do take up a lot of space.

The assorted colors of leaf plates are great against the red dinnerware. Can't believe that you're selling the dishes...couldn't you just sell a set of mugs! I just know that the day that I sold the set, I'd break one of the plates at home. Everything looks wonderful. The candle holder centerpiece is very effective. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay

Christine, I predict those dishes fly out of your shop, too! You've showcased them beautifully on this "half a tablescape"! Gorgeous! I also love the small green glasses.

This is the cutest little Autumn table. The centerpiece looks great right where it is. I like the ancillary pieces surrounding the centerpiece, too - especially those candlesticks with pumpkins atop, so cute. Those dishes are too cute, love its Autumn colors. Colorful flatware, what whimsy.

All the Best,

Requi

Christine, you are so good at displaying your merchandise. A store is the perfect project for you. I need to do this too, but my town is too small for me to sell much. What fun you are having, playing with your vignettes in the store, AND getting rid of some of the stuff in your house. Oh, how I need to do that! laurie
