Getting Cozy By the Fireside

I went to bed late last night because I was filling out forms for both me and John and getting them ready to renew our passports. I planned to sleep in this morning but the hospital called for John so early and he was already in the shower, so I had to get up to answer the phone. And once I get up, it's hard for me to go back to bed.
So, I decided to light the fire in the family room fireplace and make some cappuccino and just relax there.

For my teaset, I am using Villeroy and Boch's "Magic Christmas" and I used Lenox Winter Greetings for my tea cup.

The setting is in the Parlor by the Christmas Village in the family room.

There's nothing more cozy than sipping a double dose of cappuccino by the fireside.

Santa is keeping me company.

Love that froth! It's looks like snow but it's warm.

It was cold last night and hubby turned up the heat which dried up the poinsettas. I hydrated them and they should be ok in a few minutes.

There is my companion again. Isn't he sweet?

Have you ever tried Pizza Hut's Chocolate dipping bread? It's pretty good! I placed the Hershey chocolate in a red and green Nippon salt cellar. It's just the right size.

A perfect morning for me, just lounging in my teddy bear flannel pj's. Do you see my knees? LOL!

Love the holiday demitasse spoon.

The table topper is from Rhodes, Greece. I got it for free after buying a lot of table cloths and throw pillow cases from a linen store. I have an obsession for table linens, among other things, lol. I thought it looked festive on top of the tiger table.

Aaaah! That was really good, both cappuccino and choco dipped Pizza Hut bread.

Thank you so much for visiting.
I hope everybody is keeping warm especially the ones who are from places where there are blizzards. My sister and her hubby who just came back from another cruise got stranded in FLorida b/c flights to Chicago were cancelled.
Thank you to all our gracious hostesses!!

Just in from Santa Fe, so I'm catching up on my favorite blogs ;-)... I love your table topper. That is one exquisite piece. You certainly know how to ease into the day. Chocolate!! Your tea set is really cute, I love the toys on it. I love the big bow on the fireplace. Is that a pre-lit bow? It's totally perfect up there. I still like your village where it is. Your trip in Miami looked like a lot of fun too. What a gift to be able to spend time with family. You are truly blessed. Merry Christmas
